I guarantee that everyone who knows what they’re doing knew fairly accurately how today was going to pan out before market open, as soon as that RNS came out. Whether they choose to act on that or sit on their hands is another thing.

ABSOLUTELY @Quant. I'm checking Covid figures and the Dow (and futures) movements more than AML especially first thing in the morning, and continually on the FTSE all day - AML follows that like a hungry puppy does pizza.

Then Moers was announced, which saw a huge uptick. For strong REASON.

I disagree. More like there was strong manipulation driving it down to 30p - then SP recovered to where it should have been.

There was a reason why SP dropped to 30p!!!
the same reason why it stopped dead at 50p today.

If you were awake first thing this morning @BTFATH1 you too would have profited from today.... it was obvious from before market open what was going to happen.

And there needs to be a reason for it to drop into the 40's, Which could be the FTSE.... if it sh17s itself next week. But that wouldn't be any slight on AML.

The more important point IMO.... is that sentiment and emotion ALWAYS win over logic and maths.
Investment decisions are made by humans. Even automatic trading platforms were programmed by humans powered by emotion.

Good work. I was initially in with AML at 69p, averaged down to 49p when SP was in the 30's and 40s. I must have tried 100 times to buy today under 50p, app and laptop both going concurrently. Managed to buy 3 tranches just over 50 eventually.

Come on @andip85 you don't even need to calculate that mate you can guess that number! You're 6p over where you want to be so you'd have to average down at a price 6p under!?

Deos.... get your head around everything has a reason to it. WHY would SP drop to 30p? By the same token '£1 next week' is nonsensical. Yes - it 'could' be £1 next week.... but what huge event that we haven't seen coming is going to trigger that? THAT should be the question - what news is going to hit next? Not pointless plucking of prices out of thin air.

Although just offering up an alternative.... if you put the same amount in again now as you did at 87p.... you'd be in the profit from circa 69p ;o)

9 times out of 10, where there is a share dilution, SP drops to where that price level is.
There was clearly high resistance at 49.something.

Happy with that. £10k worth at 50p.
Now waiting to throw everything back in that i took out 2 days ago, as soon as this levels out.

@ContrarianKicks can you not read or something? I said they WILL be discounted, but not crazy. I'd wager a 20% discount to match the increase number of shares. Anything too far away from that either up or down will cause huge upset to investors.
