They all resigned from their respective Government posts, ministerial positions etc. but are mostly if not all still elected MP's, hence they are still in the Big House behaving like children and zoo animals.
All very good at cheering, jeering & booing, not much else, all totally detached from reality in most cases.
IMO.

I'm sure I read something somewhere that mentioned the 8th July as a deadline for something but damned if I can find it now. Was it something to do with the funds from the umbrella agreement being deposited or something?
Does this ring a bell with anyone?

My million BUY at 9:08 showed as 'unknown'. LSE algorithm can't cope with mid-point deals.

@ NCTrade - maybe wise to average down? Hmm... wise or not - probably not knowing my luck - I just bought another million to add to my previous million and averaged down to just under 0.31.
I'll still need today's SP to increase 5-fold and a bit just to break even but worth a shot I guess?
Only time will tell.

@ NCTrade - I think BB has gone silent as there is literally no news and no one posting here really knows anything new that can be backed up with factual evidence.
Some just seem to have resorted to posting rubbish and winding each other up, just seems petty and childish to me.
I will await confirmed actual news from official and reliable sources before anything happens to my holding here.

@ ATISHA - Me too, 90% down but finding the paper loss hard to accept. I bought into CLON on the back of the Western Gas/Sasanof-1 deal without (a) fully understanding the 1.4 billion shares issued to raise funds or (b) being prepared for anything other than a discovery at Sasanof. Basic beginner errors for sure but hard to stomach nonetheless.
I'll hold now and hope something positive can come from their current situation as not a lot left to lose. With any luck I can cover these losses with gains from other investments then anything more from CLON will be a bonus.
Win some, lose some, learn some.

Are you sure you're not me? Certainly sounds like me, quite uncanny and a bit spooky, but nice to know I'm not alone.
Same as you, I had shares 'in profit' but didn't take it, then sold at a loss and invested elsewhere, but then that crashed too hence portfolio disaster!
I have a good holding here so hoping for some decent reward to paper over my other mistakes :-)

Short but interesting.
So their Drilling Superintendent is Mike Williams from Midak Engineering, confirming our earlier suspicions of their connection. He sounded pretty upbeat about the progress of the rig audit, also confirming it to be the Atlas Copco rig as had been suggested before, and it's already in East Africa so that's good news. Sounds like a good thorough overhaul and testing going on so there won't be any nasty surprises = downtime, when they start drilling.
And DM sounded much more relaxed/less stressed as evident with barely a stutter. Maybe he just doesn't like 'in person/on camera' but clearly much less stressed, that suggests to me that he is much happier with where HE1 is now than the last time we heard him and that can only be good news.
Still a way to go and anything could or couldn't happen but at least they appear very confident they will drill this year as intended.

..... and now the SP has slipped back from it's earlier highs. Hmm....
Seems like a massive churn of shares presumably many that bought in at the lows now cashing-in for a quick profit generated by this morning's excitement?
I'm no expert here..... what do the 'experts' think will happen next? Churn over today then SP settles below 0.7 ready for another push up tomorrow? Or will it simply get back to about 0.8 (the last placing price) and hold there until we get further progress reports?
So many questions.

Nice post Mafs, pretty much my thoughts too, fingers crossed we see 1.6-2p short term as I could do with de-risking and covering some losses elsewhere.

I thought for a moment I was reading one of my own posts :-) Like you, too much invested in exploration companies and all doing really REALLY badly, my portfolio is miles down :-(
However.... only a mistake if they don't come good long term, and looks like Kefi could do that now the agreement is signed. It's a start at least. Here's hoping. I have 502,000 shares here, owe me just under 1.06p a share on average.

Good job too, couldn't have been doing with all their "I told you so's" like they had known for a fact all along when in actual fact they knew as much as everyone else, sweet FA.

Yes, pretty much 'nailed on' as you say. Lets face it, anyone who bought into CTH a few months ago at around £6 is unlikely to turn down a 25% profit. I certainly wouldn't but then chance would be a fine thing. And anyone who bought in 3 years ago at £3.25..... wow, if only!!
Today's RNS from LDG confirms they aren't making a formal offer so that's the end of that but at least they'll take a good profit from their investment, just can't see that having much effect on the SP though.

Interesting to watch.....

The news releases being reported by the press for the CTH offer are misleading, they are saying CTH has accepted the offer from Amalfi Bidco (Sheikh Holdings) but that is incorrect - the RNS from CTH only says the CTH Committee are recommending the offer, not that it has been accepted.
Not a done deal yet but I can't see why the shareholders would vote against it.
Either way, no big uptick to the LDG SP as a result.

Still watching.....

Ah, so Sheikh Holdings finally made an offer and the CTH Board have recommended it.
LDG hold 1,974,130 CTH shares at an average of £6.639 so if the offer is accepted and LDG get £7.50 a share they would make about £1.7M, around 13% profit

Just like our fellow investor dai2belts I'm in here at an average about 10.7 and desperately hoping for good news; my portfolio is in ruins, frankly, with HE1 my biggest investment - though NOT my worst performer - so I could really do with this coming good to get me out of the mess I'm in.
