All I know is that vast amounts of energy and computer processing has been turned over to 'mining' this nonsense but ultimately it doesn't have a tangible form, unlike gold - lovely yellow metal that has an intrinsic value affected by supply & demand and global markets.

Plenty it seems have made a fortune from crypto, BTC especially, and especially those that bought into the concept very early and paid peanuts for them, only to sell for $90k/coin last year. Good luck to them but it's not for me, never will be.

@ Xhita - sorry, been out all day - yes, I completely agree, having options and maximum flexiblity can only be a good thing to achieve the end goal here: GOLD.

I was merely stating that yet again Harry does something unexpected and the market takes a dim view, i.e. the Harry Effect. Quite likely this won't be the last time he pulls such a stunt.

Having said that - and despite my own spells of trusting/mistrusting him - I still think he's done incredibly well to get TK to this stage and regardless of what may or may not happen next, have no doubt it will come to fruition and bring all investors the rewards they so richly deserve having waited for so long and had to endure all the shenanigans along the way.

It seems Harry has replaced the US$15M of short-term working capital funding with US$15M of long-term subsidiary level equity ranking capital, and yet retained the short-term facility which remains on standby for additional financial flexibility.

On the face of it this would seem like a sensible and prudent move but also appears very much like having your cake and eating it, then having seconds.

While this may be a good move it also just adds more fuel to "the Harry Effect" hence the small fluctuation in sp, for now at least.

The real rewards will become self-evident in the next 18-24 months if everything continues on schedule as appears to be the case today.

True, except sp now below placing price so they'd be making a loss. II's in for the medium/longer term when they will get a serious ROI.

Are these being sold into the market? Harry was absolutely adamant the placings had gone to institutional investors and NOT bucket shops, he made quite a point of saying that.

Some of the Retail Offer or warrant shares maybe, but not the placing shares.

Xhita, yes, nothing to see here 😉 I'm being smart for a change hopefully, I have my holding and not risking trading although history shows I could/should have done so and banked a load of profit along the way! It's all swings and roundabouts as ultimately I won't care when this is north of 5p.

The only thing that affects the sp is market forces and external factors e.g. conflict in the region, Trump etc.

The markets appear determined to drag this as low as possible when there is seemingly no good reason for it. Frustrating to say the least although good entry prices for anyone not already in. I wonder how low it will go before we see a reversal, 1.1p, 1p, less?

The picture will be completely different and hopefully a lot clearer in 12-18 months.

Tha share price today is almost irrelevant - although a good price to buy at if you have the funds and patience for a return - and was bound to slip without significant news e.g. Saudi assets, or updates on progress at TK; so long as TK progresses through construction to production as expected then the sp should be many multiples of what it is today.

For sure it's been a long and bumpy journey to get where we are today, but without Harry's tenacity and connections in Ethiopia I don't belive we would have got this far.

It's inevitable that change will come at some point and succession planning is already under way but right now is not the time, we need Harry to get this production.

How many small cap explorers actually get as far as this, let alone production? Not many, so in this respect Kefi have done well.

I can see the point Bonkers is making - that any war 'in country' can affect the sp of a mining stock even if a 1,000 miles away - but it does come across as scaremongering.

Nothing ever goes up in a straight line and will surely rise again in the coming days and weeks, massively undervalued here.

I think it's incredible how Kefi just took a huge dilution - 23% was it? - as a result of the placing etc. to complete the funding package just 4 weeks ago which saw the sp fall to 1.1p or just under, and has now managed to lift itself back into the mid-1.5's.

It surely shows the potential return on offer here once they progress through construction to first production in 2028 or just possibly late 2027.

If all it takes to get this moving is a tweet from a respected investor just wait until real news starts landing.

And considering the recent dilution (yet tbc by GM on 14th) this is a pretty impressive turnaround.

Hold for gold. Or a proper re-rate, whichever comes first as far as I'm concerned.

The presentation was good, just need the GM now to approve the share issue required to complete the placing etc. then wait for the sp to rise between now and production.

A re-rate is inevitable, just a question of when, but happy to wait as will be well worth it.
