I wasn't saying it could, merely suggesting it wouldn't surprise me if it did. Well, 6 days later - with no news (yet) and the US/Iran conflict causing chaos - I see the bid has been as low as 1.64.

I was half right 😉.

Hopefully this will reverse and the news will drop and we all get the re-rate we are waiting for. The suspense is killing me (joking, before anyone suggests I'm too stressed or worrying too much).

@RichardMcV - no, Chancery are only providing US$20M, there is still a further £30M outstanding.

From Feb 11th RNS:

"A residual US$30 million of equity-risk capital is also in the process of being fully signed up this month. This comprises US$10 million of costs to be incurred during the two-year development programme and settled in KEFI shares at the then market price when applicable costs fall due during this period, and the balance of US$20 million as additional equity-risk ranking TKGM gold royalties issued to two other royalty investors on the same terms as the Chancery Royalty."

Didn't Jeremy Gray say that Chancery could have done an extra US$10M but didn't want to take $30M of streaming from Kefi?

At this stage and with construction for housing started and mine works only a short time away I can't see how the deals Harry has on the table won't be 'finessed' soon - those investors would be nuts to pull out now, it would be like looking a gift horse in the mouth then shooting it dead.

Well it certainly isn't rising!

Ebbs and flows maybe but you can't say somehting isn't sinking when the price is going down, that's simply illogical.

The order book has looked an absolute mess this morning, it seems to me there is a lot of pressure to pull this back down to 1.7.

At least that's the way I'm reading it, please tell me if I'm mis-reading.

As far as Kefi/TK is concerned the price of gold today isn't really so important, it is only giving an indication of the possible NPV when TK begins producing gold or gold equivalent.

The actual price of gold when they start producing is the important metric because that will dictate how quickly they can repay the debt, FCF and possible dividends.

It's disappointing we haven't had the final "finance complete" RNS but that was expected tbh and is probably the reason - along with the Middle East conflicts - the reason for the drop in sp this morning.

The RNS will drop soon imo so no need to panic on that front.

Welcome back Robjm66, good to know that you are still keeping an eye on all things 'Kefi'.

Has there actually been any fact-checked source that says Ethiopia is "planning a war" or "intends to attack" Tigray or Eritrea?

If not then I would suggest that is a very dangerous statement to make.

I'm not suggesting it couldn't happen because tensions are high (higher than they were) and the situation could be described as volatile, but I don't think "planning" or "intends to" is accurate.

Hopefully the tensions will de-escalate and further conflict can be avoided. There are no winners in war. Any war.

That could all change with an RNS.

Come on Harry, don't keep us waiting too much longer, get something done 'on time' just for once.

We could see an intraday RNS but if not then hopefully Monday.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of volume this morning, I get the feeling that maybe everyone is holding their breath waiting for the final piece of the finance jigsaw to drop into place?

It'll be interesting to see what happens when it does.

@ McDoog - I'm 'fixated' on where the sp will be in the next 12-24 months, maybe longer, and that it shouldn't be sub-2p today as it's a bloody joke with the potential on offer here.

And frankly, Harry doesn't need any help from us as he seems quite capable of bashing himself.... oh, that sounds wrong but you know what I mean... he sets himself up for a fall every time he sets a date for anything.

And no, haven't sold yet, won't sell at 2p, need a minimum of 5p before even considering that, won't sell when we get the outstanding US$20M, and can't afford to buy anymore as have no liquidity in my pf.

I'm off to watch some paint dry now. Literally.

I agree that TK is now unstoppable, only a major disaster could prevent it now. I also agree that investors have had plenty of time to sell if they wanted out but I also think there are some that could be frightened out of their shares especially as we know how manipulative the market can be.

We'll find out in due course.

You'll also see from my posting history that I'm always happy to admit my mistakes and if I get things wrong, unlike some I have seen on here.

Alanos - I seem to recall I did some gardening last year and the price went up!

Sadly it's still a bit too wet to cut but I am in the middle of decorating at the moment so maybe that will help? Although I expected to have it done by the end of Feb but looking like it will over-run by a week at least. The wife's not impressed.

I don't understand why other posters think I am "worried" or "stressing" when I make some posts on here, I can assure you I'm doing neither of those things.

I'm merely expressing a view of how I think things may play out - especially in the short term - or is that not allowed? I'm certainly not attempting to de-ramp, I leave that to others.

My point was that given the history of Kefi and what I call "the Harry effect" this could easily drop without the news we are waiting for, expecting even.

Like everyone else here I'm 100% this will happen and TK will be built, and of course the sp will react accordingly which should inevitably be upwards.

We all expected previous RNS's and milestones to put a rocket under this and it simply hasn't happened. Yet.

Only time will tell if the next RNS i.e. finance totally 100% complete and signed, makes any difference at all.

Again, we all think it should, but the markets may see things differently e.g. sure finance is done etc. but still another 2 years to first gold, we'll wait and see if that timeline is correct.

Impossible to predict with any degree of accuracy, we all believe the rise is inevitable it's just a question of when and to what levels.
