The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
@ Mafs - yes, it will catch everyone out because as you say, there have been many false dawns; how many times have we heard "this will happen" or "this is imminent" or "TK sign off will be complete by xxx" and then it doesn't happen?
Too many times. However....
It does seem different this time, for sure progress has and is being made, and it must happen eventually. The big question is - is that time now?
But investing in stocks like Kefi, Helium One, Petro Matad and Clontarf Energy has made me ever more so.
This all sounds very positive and I hope it is, but I also hope Harry isn't talking this up before he drops another fundraise on us! There's no reason why he should - that I know of - but as fjones40 says, talk is cheap and until we have definitive news we are just holding & praying.
AIM high risk investing - definitely not for the impatient or faint hearted eh?
Fingers crossed.
Another update, more use of "imminently" and "coming weeks". I appreciate some have been waiting a very long time here, a lot longer than me, but how much longer must we wait?
I also appreciate that the SA projects are potentially huge and should dwarf TK, but seemingly it all hinges on TK sign-off which is what most are waiting for and it just isn't happening, yet.
When Harry said TK sign off 'should all be done by Christmas' which Christmas did he mean? 2023? 2024?
I'm beginning to get the horrible feeling we will still be hearing "imminently" many times yet and further fundraising will be needed, meaning dilution, but I really hope not.
I'm a patient person but this is so frustrating; just get it signed for all our sakes.
6,352,522 shares bought back to date, average paid 253.6304 (DT getting good value), total spent £16,111,926.
DT still have £58,888,074 available to buy back more shares.
ps. I am invested here again now, looking forward to the SP hitting £3 soon.
Hi all, just to let you know I sold my (small) holding here earlier - once I was back in profit - as I needed the funds for another investment. I may be back at a later date though.
If anyone wants me to keep going with the daily Buyback updates I'm more than happy to if I have time but if no positive response to this post I'll let it go....
Good luck all.
5,476,691 shares bought back to date, average cost now 252.2801, total spend £13,816,599.
SP holding ok considering what is going on elsewhere this morning, I can see this bouncing back without too much trouble, just like it has every other day. Hopefully.
HGN - legs are fine (for my age!) but brain is another matter, keeps making me do stupid things like buy shares, then make bad decisions like sell them at the wrong time :-)
Still learning though and don't pretend to be any kind of expert - ever - unlike some on these BB's.
I could have sold earlier and made a profit but had a feeling there is more to be made here. Only time will tell if that was the right decision or not, as with all trading I suppose. If only hindsight didn't exist then it wouldn't be a problem!!
