Hmm... all bar 1 trade they were all timed at 09:34:12 so maybe a late posting issue rather than a genuine spike in sp?

There were 16 trades at 1.49/1.495, then straight back down. Bit odd.

@StephenX - I've been saying the low sp is all due to the "the Harry effect" for ages, too many false dawns.

I think we can all be certain this is going to happen and we can probably be fairly sure the timelines set out now are reasonably correct, but all this funding noise was meant to be 'done' last September/October/November/December and now looking like (maybe) February all being well. But who knows?

Harking back to the Chancery investment, Jeremy Gray seems to have a pretty good idea and likely a much better grasp of time and values than anyone posting on here. He is suggesting the sp could be 7p-8p by the end of this year, and with first gold production targeted for early 2028 even suggests this could happen in late 2027. I'm inclined to listen to him and ignore much of the rambling that goes on here every day.

I think he's had more than enough working capital to get the deal over the line.

In any case, surely the line is so close now it only needs a gentle nudge and a few signatures that are already cued up to get over it, then it's all systems go to build a mine and get producing, after which Kefi will be awash with cash.

I just got around to watching the Chancery video from a couple of days ago....

Jeremy Gray seems like a no nonsense straight talking CEO with great experience and credentials.

According to Jeremy:

TK is the "best undeveloped gold & silver mine in all of Africa"

Kefi is going to be "a phenomenal success"

First gold production targeted for Q1-28 but thinks Harry will achieve it earlier than this.

He expects the sp to be "7p-8p by year end".

That'll do for me. Still fail to comprehend how or why the sp is still where it is, can the market really still be worried about the 'Harry effect', too many false dawns?

Fingers crossed we get that far, nothing to suggest we won't right now.

Currently shows 4,289,717 @ 1.26 (or below) on the bid and 7,440,689 @ 1.28 (or higher) on the ask.

Off-book trades haven't affected the current orders showing, someone just dumped 1M @ 1.255! (11:51)

It's entirely possible we get an RNS on Monday morning which should - should - light the blue (or gold?) touch paper under this thing.

So maybe a rally this afternoon isn't impossible?

I should think with multiple parties involved, who presumably all have their own legal teams and advisers, and with the amount of checking, double checking and cross-referencing needed, that this isn't a simple procedure to complete.

Nobody wants to make a mistake - especially at this late stage - that could come back and bite them as it could cost them millions. It would make my investing/trading mistakes look really pathetic!
