I am of the opinion that they do not because with all the positive and informative posters on here there is no way there could be such a disconnect between the share price and share value.
Tilly has given us an up to date report on manipulation but to be realistic how can there be such a large difference between the share price and say £1+ valuation.
I am of the opinion that the share pice is a function of a loss making interim report and lack of interest by the mm,s
This could work to our advantage if im right but what do others think?

We have had 2 great rns,s and the market reaction has been poor to say the least
Posters have given really good insights into resource value and extraction costs which indicates a share price of at least double to where we are [ 30 p to sell ]
The last rns was an opportunity for the company to say that they had ended tha sale process but the fact that they chose not to speaks volumes.
This must surely propel the price skywards in the near future when the market wakes up to its true potential

Ticino Paul Hill did come over as irritating and rampy but at no time did Alistair [ when he could get a word in ] contradict him or throttle back on expectations . If anything he expanded on the huge potential of the affimer platform.

PSB123 I agree with your lft potential valuation but i can see the affimer platform being used and licensed out for many more uses.If you look back on the latest Vox interview my take is that there will be a constant drip of good news which will support and also propel the price to a higher level.
This will occur prior to a successful drug trial

Ndn 71 I always thought it was always twice a day!
The really big rns will probably happen over the coming year when so many pharma companies realise that Affimers will replace antibodies.
The lft will be a good source of income but not the golden egg when the drug trials are proven and the affimer platform reaches anything like its full potential.

The price dropped slightly today because the rns did not say that a sale had been agreed.
Was the update negative or positve?
Unless you are living on another planet it was obviously positve.
The market will respond to this update when investors see a 43% uplift as a real positive [ sale or no sale ]
If the sale takes longer then so be it but a good resource update usually results in a share price rise.

I dont think the sale is going to happen quite as soon as we all want.
My take on the rns is to tell all shareholders how good the assets are in response to a growing unease over the delay in sale negotiations [ which could be due to a large extent to the covid situation ]
Stay with us because the information is obviously already known to possible /probable purchasers.
Keep the faith and hold onto shares which should increase in value sale or not.

Weve had the march down and a gradual rise up but yesterday we had a leap up [ probably due to A A speculation ]
When we take into account the improving weather then surely any prospective purchaser would be mega keen to get the deal done and get on with what will be a massive project.
A deal within the next 7 days looks on the cards. A £5 billion valuation could easily be obtained with this top class negotiating team .

Dietch66, If you look at my post 9/2/21 i did a brief calculation based on information gleaned by myself and from others on this board .
I came up with a figure of £5 billion.

Maybe ,as the price is so depressed ,the company is leaving itself open to a hostile takeover

Iam sure many on this board [ myself included ] are disappointed that the test was not out earlier.If you consider that it is now very probable that the new avacta test will be the best out there and if you read the last trading update you will see a company with incredible potential with lcenses in place and a good cash balance .The test they produce will still have a massive market worldwide whether the uk are purchasers or not.

Reading the rns,s there is never a" hold for gold " feel to the reports but they always stick to the facts and dont over promise.The last share that i had that was taken over with an offer of about 15%premium was pumped to high heaven by the ceo who kept saying i would advise shareholders to hold etc.We all expected fireworks and got a bit of a dud.
My opinion fwiw is that we will be pleasantly surprised here

Hoochy my back of fag packet calc .[ 9 2/21 ] gives a value of 5 billion [ over 6 times the current price ] I know this seems a lot but it is based on whats in the ground and extraction costs
Having said that we are in the bod,s hands and i wolud be happy with anything above 60 p

Assuming a no deal outcome [ perish the thought ] this share must surely be worth more than a measly 22.5p
With all the metals in the ground and all the potential you would be mad to sell for less than 50p

Say net value per tonne £ 1400 after extraction and overheads .Total sale resource estimation [proven and conservative estimate of unproven ] 6 million tonnes .
Total value =£ 6 x 1400 million = £ 8.4 billion allowing for downside risks etc say £5 billion [ i e .over 6 times the current share price
