By the end of this month Kefi's net debt position will be at least £4million as cashburn is around £400,000 to £500,000 per month.
Given the original facility was for only £1.5million with a 25% interest rate is it sustainable to keep rolling over this debt at such a high interest rate?

I doubt Harry came over to London just for the Mines & Money event as that would justify his business class flight from Ethiopia.
The 25% debt financing facility is due for repayment next week so there's a good chance Harry has come over to meet brokers and clients to arrange a placing. It wouldn't be the first time a placing has been announced soon after a business trip to London by Harry.

I think the main question you have to ask yourselves is at what share price level will HNW/Institutions be prepared to invest in a fundraise as we all know the company will need to raise equity to make progress.
If you think large investors will be willing to pay a higher price in a fundraise then buy now, if not then you would do better to wait until that is out the way before tying up your cash.

Last year Empire Metals were offered 41% of Munni Munni from Artemis for £975,000 but decided not to proceed with the deal.

I think most of us expected him to sell some on the recent rise but I don't think he'll sell any more until we get another big leg up in the share price

The big rise will come when we get an RNS confirming a contract. Shouldn't have long to wait as per the last RNS which stated:
'certain potential clients have indicated their desire to reach an agreement with Starcom for its technology and the Board is hopeful to conclude one or more contracts before the end of this year.'

I wouldn't be surprised if a larger company makes a move on HUM thinking it can run Yanfolila more efficiently than current management and seeing a very cheap path to grow production and benefit from the development of Kouroussa and Dugbe.

This is what the company said when it announced the Avion deal:
'A new optimised international Phase III trial in lupus patients (which is expected to include patients in the US, Europe and elsewhere), is targeted to commence in 2020, following agreement of the trial design between Avion, ImmuPharma and the US Food & Drug Administration'

So assuming the PK trial is successful the start of the phase 3 trial will be 2 years late

So they haven't started the PK study yet :-(

It depends whether the lender (who is also the largest shareholder) is willing to take on a greater risk by increasing the amount of the facility.
Kefi needs over £400k per month to keep the lights on. This may have increased due to the security problems

Is Harry trying to get the share price up as he is planning a placing?

PFAS news has the potential to get the share price back to the highs.
The last placing was at 230p.
The PFAS trial was started last month at a US military installation and was due to last 1 month before the equipment was moved on to the next installation. I think we will get an RNS outlining the data from the first trial shortly.
It's very likely to be positive as we know Mycelx has been using the same equipment successfully at military bases in Australia for quite some time.
