The directors' buys send a strong signal that there won't be a placing anytime soon as if there was going to be one then they would have waited to buy in that.
Also £84k is a significant amount to buy on the open market, as opposed to buying in a fundraise, and it's possible some of them will take more shares if the share prices weakness continues.

I think we'll get a follow up RNS in the coming weeks to give an update on the 'excavator' issue and possibly an interview with Dan and Anthony

If the disappointing Q3 performance is due to 'mining contractor excavator equipment availability' then it is a relatively straightforward issue that can be addressed and shouldn't have a prolonged impact on operational performance

Another very good result today with a very long intercept of 448m @ 0.3 CuEq with intersections as high as 0.61CuEq and a nice long higher grade intercept of 155m @ 0.44 CuEq. This will add significant tonnage to the resource

The Q3 update could drop any day now.
It will be very interesting to see how much cash has been generated now the Yanfolila debt has been fully paid off and there won't be any debt repayments or interest costs

Should see some good progress on the US assets now after bringing in a partner.
With WTI at over $80/barrel a scaling up of production will be very profitable

The economics look excellent with a 86% IRR at 50p per therm. It would be much higher if you assume a higher gas price

I just had a look at the proven reserves of the Noront project.
The grades are very impressive with 2.02% nickel 1.04% copper 3.45 g/t palladium 1.01 g/t platinum and 0.19 g/t gold
That makes each tonne of ore very valuable so no wonder BHP want to build a mine there

What's the current gas price per therm?

I had a quick scan of the RNS but couldn't find metrics such as IRR or NPV which are normally included in a scoping study.
Am I missing something or is there a reason they weren't given?

Why do you sense a TR-1 from Sustainable Capital?
It's position was down to 2.56% (i.e. below the 3% disclosure threshold) in May so unless it has been buying stock I don't think there will be a further TR-1. It probably sold all its shares well before this week and was one of the reasons the share price sunk so low

Apart from the financing package in today's announcement it is also great to hear how much progress the company has made behind the scenes in moving Kouroussa towards production.

It is also worth noting that it is a 'group level' finance package which suggests that operations at Yanfolila are moving along nicely without any major hiccups. If there were any problems, then it's very unlikely that Coris would have signed off the facility as it would have done due diligence on Yanfolila,a mine the bank knows well, as part of the overall process.

Anyone who was hoping there would be a placing to finance Kouroussa will now have to buy shares in the open market

The interest rate has reduced from the 9% charged by Corris on the facility to finance Yanfolila

RNS confirms Kouroussa will be fully funded via bank debt facility and internal cash flows i.e. no dilution to shareholders!

Delayed 250k trade at 18.25p printed after close

Kouroussa has a 98% IRR at the current gold price which is very high compared to other gold projects.
Looking forward to seeing the mine being built

It will be interesting to see if any large delayed trades are printed after the closed or during this week.
It was only a matter of time before someone decided to build a decent size position at such a low market cap. in comparison to the assets and positive net cash position

Good to see the share price start to move up from a ridiculously oversold level.
Anything below 25p i.e £100m market cap is a bargain IMO.
I think we'll see at least double that when when gold resumes it's uptrend
