It's very true these boards can influence people to make irrational decisions. Reading some of these comments now suggesting this is about to tank below £1 etc. Personally it makes me chuckle but then i'm probably a bit long in the tooth for this game. This is near the lowest it's been in it's history for no real justifiable reason. All recent updates suggest there are no real underlying problems. With dividend reinstated quite the contrary in fact. The talk here if it were rational should only be about buying. Anyone selling at these type of prices will learn & regret the hard way. I've been there before on shares & it's painful to watch a share rocket away when you have sold out for a loss or pitiful profit. This is a patience game & nothing more!

Well if a company like this paid out a dividend & dropped a clanger RNS a few months later heads would have to roll at the top! i don't for a minute think that will be the case but i understand the frustration with the SP is causing all sorts of wonderful speculation. IMO the shorts are trying (with difficulty at this level) to drive the SP further down on low volumes. It seems to me that due to all the macro doom & gloom people are reluctant to commit cash into equities which allows the shorts a bit of a free rein. It's clear they are struggling to drive this much lower as it's been in a tight range for some months now. My view is these shorts are just looking to hoover up as many of these shares they can out of weak PIs hands. Personally i'd expect a reversal to be not too far away but only time will tell!

Well i was thinking of buying another good chunk but a few other shares have come back under my cross hairs: OTB; FXPO & IDS all getting near entry level prices for me! VOD probably worth accumulating as well at those levels. Decisions, decisions!!

This latest short suggests Systemica want weak & impatient holders to sell their shares to them for peanuts which they'll happily buy off them & accumulate before closing their short position & watching this rerate to true value while those who sold out on the cheap look back in anger!

In all fairness over the last few months on here we've had a lot of chatter about other stocks. Most of them today have now performed rather worse than NEX over the same period!

Patience is the biggest virtue in this gig! impatience is the biggest cause of capital loss!

Personally i don't think the Apollo bid was serious at all. My guess is they were trying to pay @120 a share or thereabouts. They strike me as a bunch of chancers looking to get stuff as cheap as chips. i thought the same with the WG offer too as well. The bb over on THG is a bit toxic JG and as JW rightly points out there's a few on there who are living in cloud cuckoo land. I really can't see the SP going anywhere other than south for the time being at least!

JG. i'm still watching THG but i'm expecting it to drop a lot lower. Not worth an investment at current price IMV but will look again if it goes sub 50p which i'm expecting there. Now the bid frenzy has gone you need to look at those results. Really poor as i see it & much better value around at the current SP anyway!

The danger of looking for those type of shares is you end up with shares half of what you pay for them!!

Too big a drop to ignore IMO LG. 10% divi yield nearly on that too. I thought the forward statement from the CEO there was quite good too!

Well i got my dividend pot & invested it in VOD today @82p. Bit of diversification!

LG, Poker is well on the money here i think. You seem to be getting a bit wobbly on this one. Need to ignore the noise & relax. You know here this one should be & you know it will get there.... eventually. As i've said numerous times here. This is a waiting game & that is all. No need for over analysis. The coach wheels are turning everyday. If the business continues focusing on those day to day fundamentals the market will at some point realise this is mis priced & it will rerate!

ASOS sub £4 now LG. stick with NEX i'd say but sounded like you were tempted at a fiver. Crap business in my view but each to their own!

As far as i see it NEX remains the best buy on the FTSE350 atm. Yes, the bumbling SP is frustrating but just a golden opportunity to load up as many as possible. The 30 year chart says it all for me. This one always rises from the ashes!

LG, RE WG. It's on the radar but waiting for now.. Not rushing back in tempting as it is. I can see it dropping back further now the bid momentum has gone. Strange how this game works. I pulled out of both of them to buy NEX. Poor decisions but i'm actually now in a better place overall!
