The coaches are still running up & down the motorways the same as they were when the SP was 330!

Lots of panicking. In reality many, many shares have dropped much more than this has over the last 6 months or so!

Noggers, the shorters want you to think it's never ending so you decide to get out & conserve at least some cash. Then, lo & behold it does end. The SP rises sharply & you're left crying with your big loss. I've seen this all before. Many times!

I think many peeps miss the point that the shorters drive the price to silly levels in order to accumulate their own large cache of shares bought cheaply from panicking sellers. Once that is exhausted they will reverse to a long position & the SP will rise. A SP fall like this is probably the stimulus required which will actually drive the SP north!

QD, no i wouldn't sell at these levels, i'm just adding. The market is behaving a bit like the Truss /Kwarteng days & quite a few shares have taken a bit of a dip. I think due to concern over this US debt stuff. All this BS will come & go like Covid & Omicron etc did. Now is the time to be buying battered shares not selling them!

Looks like a lot of soiled nappies when this drops a few pence. These are buying opportunities. If you get spooked by a share price dropping a bit this game is really not worth the stress. Just reread the RNSs. This company is operating just fine. The shorts are doing a great job here in scaring some hands!

DB, The charts on HL site give you all the daily lows & highs for the last 10 years. A short squeeze could happen here on any positive news e.g. contracts etc....The likes of Systemica upping their short at these levels is fairly opportunist IMO & i suspect just an attempt to drive weaker sellers into surrendering their shares to them. No doubt in my mind they will have hedged against any positive breakout here!

Any catalyst here watch for the short squeeze!

DB the SP here hit 66p on 18th March 2020. That was a freak day when all markets tanked beyond belief. They recovered over the following few days & NEX rallied back way over 200. It then dipped to 112 in Sept 2020 before recovering post vaccine news!

Seems to be a lot of fuss here over this drop. I was expecting the shorts to latch onto any poor market days to drive this a bit further down & hoover the panic seller shares on the cheap. Buying opportunity that is all. Far too many people expecting overnight riches here!

Well, i kind of used Rolls deliberately as it was held back by the huge debt burden. The change came with a new CEO & some decent financial news & forward looking impetus. I simply think the market woke up to this huge long established brand being massively undervalued & i believe similar will happen here at some point!

QD, what does this share need? A Rolls Royce moment. That one faffed around 65-90p for ages then 150 in the blink of an eye!

Also what was your entry price here? & why did you buy it then? SP aside what is different with the company compared to the day you first bought in?

JG, answer this: what has changed with NEX which makes the company different to when the SP was in 250-330 range 12-18 months ago? So no macro economic stuff. Just company specific!

I also am thinking this probably will drop a bit more which will be the trigger for a northward surge. That's what happened with DOCS, DLG, 888 etc.

For me it is about risk. Little risk here from these levels. Selling at these levels to jump into e.g. Boo/THG is a high risk strategy. Simply not worth it in my view. This is just a case of holding & not staring at the ticker every 5 mins. I think LG mentioned he missed out on a share which has trebled since January. I assume that's an AIM stock. Those carry huge risks this does not!

JG, You've been here as long as i can remember & i know you're about on other shares so i'd expect you also to have learnt some hard lessons in the past. There are a few here who jumped in for a quick buck which hasn't happened & some other shares have gone up quite significantly. Worth looking around though & seeing that some stocks have dropped hugely as well. Far more than NEX has in the last 6 months. This certainly looks to be about as low as it gets here. I've got funds held back in case it were to drop more but really i don't see it. Each to their own but in my eyes selling out at these silly prices is nothing short of madness!
