today's falls are reflective of the whole ftse index not airline specific. banks, oil, telcos all prices down in the doldrums. i think the big test for all these shares will be when furlough is phased out as the whole economy is being falsely propped up at the moment.

haha, i do look a bit deeper Teddy. Have been in on the BP recently & made a few bob on them & know you in there too. Got fed up with recent lack of reaction to oil rises though so got out at 325 & put the cash in these. Missed the boat a bit i think as could have picked up BP at 302/3 yesterday. got in here but looks less safe than the BP but i'm sure will come out good as i'd hold for long time rather than come out at a loss.

my 1st time investing in these as seemed like a no brainer at yesterdays prices. The no stamp duty is a bit of a bonus. Anyone aware of any other FTSE shares which have similar set up (i.e. duty free purchase)?
