They can if they want release an RNS giving an update before then of course, like they did on March 19th, probably in response to SP crash on 18th March. I doubt they will though!

The CEO could be announced anytime. there is no deadline. could be tomorrow could be after xmas. next trading update/interim is October 22nd!

F17, a very down to earth summary of what this company is all about. Good, solid fundamentalss. Well diversified to withstand turmoil in any individual markets & financial clout to withstand potentially 2 full quarters of lockdown/worst case scenarios. Not many companies, particularly in this type of sector can say that! In my view nothing has really changed with this company other than the economic situation it finds itself in due to no fault of it's own. Lots of people whinge & moan on here as they are impatient for a 20% quick gain & flip over to another low priced share. That is fine but patience will give a lot of payback here i believe & i expect far more than a 20% gain personally. I do feel for those who are pre covid holders as they have taken a real sting on all stocks. However, again patience again will bring most stocks at least back to their previous levels in good time!

well said F17, for sure some short termers will have got a bit of a shock on the up then dip today! The 10 year performance of this share is hugely impressive & once the Covid is contained/controlled i see this resuming. Agreed most names on here will have flipped around 180 here i think. I will half my holding @250 to release capital but the rest i will leave as this looks a nice secure number with a good dividend return in the longer term!

anyone who at a SP of 119 is saying they'll only invest @lower than 115 in a share like this is really just a day chancer not really investing at all!

Dean Finch is gone Bhoys, Chris Davies (CFO) is interim CEO; Sir John Armitt is Chairman. Davies is a strong candidate to get the CEO position on a permanent basis. I suspect he'll get it too as safe pair of hands who's been with company a fair while. Unless Armitt can prise a big name for the job. I don't think there'll be dividends here till at least 2022 & i don't care as long as SP goes up!

Personally my SP target is 250 & i'll be staying put till at least that level. Perfectly achievable by end of year i think but for me no rush it'll come at some stage regardless!

i think so too, should be well over i think; keeping conservative with my predictions!

22nd October trading update. 200p SP on that day. back into operating profits & new CEO in place

Talk of dividends being paid when the SP is 25% of it's value 6 months ago is really rather naive i think!

ianB the technicals on that site always change to strong buy @ the remotest rise. very little value to anyone as i see it. changes from strong sell to strong buy in matter of minutes!

this is a very good comment winging it. Have to confess i used to do all that day trading down buying back stuff & i agree it is a poor strategy. with Nex i bought in @ 147. a which i know is a good price, & i've topped up on the dips. I'll make cash on the lot as this share is hugely undervalued @ 200p never mind 147p. A very naive comment from Spev, noone can predict the drops, but it doesn't matter as if the intrinsic value is there the price will go up again! Short term thinking, never good!!

& anyone who has actually cared to read in detail the supposedly 'bad' HY report will realise this is indeed a no brainer. The losses in that HY report have come only from very specific parts of NEX's business model (e.g. UK coaches ) Most of the revenue streams are guaranteed/protected: ALSA by at least 40%; US operations by average of 70%. Don't forget those figures were for full lockdown, which is long gone now. This share will rebound very soon & will take off with great gusto!

moves 50-70p a day this when it has something to move about!

Deos/Noggers, the share is not a dog, the way it's being played by the MMs is. Deos (IAG), Noggers (Cineworld): Both those shares been played in exactly the same way as this one is being so you both should be well copped on to these games by now. You'll both make lots of cash here if you don't lose your nerve & let the MMs steal it from you. I endured this BS myself on IAG for 2 months. Been invested her for 3 weeks & this dog will be a nice big money maker for me & you 2 also both know that!

A new CEO Noggers will whack this up! it's frustrating waiting on the announcement but i'd rather wait & they get the right person for the job. If the City like the announcement all the IIs will pile in here. John Armitt is a smart cookie, he'll approve the right person for the job & won't be rushed into a rash appointment no matter how low the SP goes!

i fully expect the October update to report a return to profit!
