I'm now non holder (used to have large holding but sold out). Can anyone here answer this for me. When nil rights paid are traded, can i buy the nil paid right as an ordinary punter. E.g. Today's nil paid price is 75p. Can i buy that right to allow me to buy 3 shares at the discounted price? does anyone know the answer as i been looking around & can't get definitive answer.

F17, yea i'd 2nd that really (wouldn't mind jump to 200 LOL), but really i'll be happy to see this steadily going along like it has on the 25 year charts. this share actually looks quite stable really (aside from the obvious C19 turbulence) i think we've probably seen the low levels for now at least. I do actually like this share & it doesn't spook me like some of the others i been in on. I think it's to do with my own confidence that this company is well managed & seem to be well cushioned against further covid nonsense. CEO announcement definitely needed here to at least keep us updated about companies performance. Everyone talks about UK lockdown etc. I want to know about how the ALSA & US operations are doing! Lets keep in the green & stay patient GLA

Glass half empty Noggers LOL. Trading update in Oct will be the biggie here as it's all clear what's happening then. Most companies when they replace CEO have a fairly smooth, natural transition. NEX has has a void & i think a new CEO would bring it back up at least to the 140s level

all rather boring & frustrating admittedly but we all know our day will come. Probably best to tuck this one away for couple months & check back in then LOL

will straddle around these levels until they have a CEO who can tell the markets what is happening. won't see much movement here until then!

they hedge the fuel costs about 4 years in advance Big smoke. they took a £10m hit on that in HY results

personally i'm intrigued at what price the nil paid rights will change hands at. Logic says between the TERP & 200(old price) so about 70p. So for 70p i can buy the right to 3 shares for 0.84p each. so £3.22 for 3 shares. sounds too good that!

engineer you can sell your nil rights paid from tomorrow. the shares you hold now will be lower in price!

If the rights get fully taken up by existing holders the SP should be ok, if not fully subscribed could go anywhere really as the underwriters will have to buy them & they won't hold them for long!

Dean, the market tomorrow starts trading ex rights, that is why there is all this discussion about what level it will open etc! i wasn't deramping i believe the 130 figure is what is generally regarded as the TERP. There will also be a seperate market for trading nil rights paid which should trade between the TERP & the discounted rights price (84p). Take a look at Hammerson. 2 markets currently open to trade their shares!

you will have nil paid rights newbie, you can sell them also if you want. a seperate market will open for them tomorrow!

Dean Mck, i didn't bail & take a loss, i actually made a small profit but nothing to shout about. I'm not deramping this share as it is a good LTH. I got out because of the RI & all the nonsense surrounding it. I'm stating some truths as i see them so please tell me what i've said which you find deramping. Clearly some investors have bizarre expectations for the post RI price. i think they will be disappointed, time will tell. I'm happy for you to criticise me Dean but i am pro this stock not a deramper just talking reality!

To compare NEX with IAG is really quite bizarre. I was invested very heavily in until recently & pulled out to invest here. IAG is really in very uncertain territory & while i still believe it to be a good investment it is far to risky a one for me. I do not believe NEX is faced with anywhere near the same levels of risk & i firmly believe the October update will show a return to operating profits, albeit a small one. From a NEX perspective i see Covid as a temporary setback which clearly could go on for some time yet but ultimately i believe peoples ways of life will return to a degree of normality & bus & coach travel will be part of that. An economic downturn will potentially benefit NEX as people will look for cheaper means of transport (an intercity coach journey is about 25% the cost of an equivalent rail one). Also i believe NEX will experience growth & acquisition wehn other players do not have the financial ability to withstand the crisis. NEX are a forward looking company & WM buses are already embracing EV usage. This will happen across the entire business. The SP at the moment for me represents a huge opportunity to invest in a hugely viable business which i think long term will offer a great ROI. I do not expect the shares to rocket anytime. Historical charts over 25 years show that this share has moved up very steadily (no huge spikes). If people wish to deramp this share that is up to them but i do like for people to justify their arguments rather than just spout negative sentiment unjustly. Hoping for a green week. ATB

LOL, that is the big thing for me, the propping up which has gone on here to justify the RI price. If it had fallen back to 160, what would the discounted shares have been offered at then? Big vested interests here who will now start divesting. will be interesting to see how the week pans out here!
