Extract from yesterday's announcement from GOA re. funding from Freefire: 4. Objectives of the New Cornerstone Investor Freefire’s aim is to support the Company’s plans to study the potential of near term production commencing at the high grade Artisanal Mining Zone at the Crater Mountain deposit, conduct an airborne geophysic study over the Crater deposit to further identify the regional potential of the deposit, continue to consider appropriate joint venture partners to enhance the development of the Crater and Croydon projects and repay the Bergen loan facility. Gold Anomaly’s Executive Chairman Greg Starr said “with Freefire Technology as a cornerstone investor in the Company, management can now continue to focus on advancing its projects rather than finding sources of funds so as to reflect the true potential value of the projects in our share price. As a result we expect shareholders will see the benefit of Freefire’s investment in the short term.” They've therefore secured considerable investment to take Crater forward. In 11th June RNS, Fraser announced : "I look forward to announcing the drill results from the ongoing programme at Manus Island, with Newcrest, and developments regarding our project at Wamum, with Barrick, during the next two months." So, Barrick and Wamum? Anyway, today's RNS is something to go on and Q4 2012 starts next Monday.

Yeah, RNS reads quite promising. At least the company has deigned to comment on something. Perhaps these forthcoming results are why we've had an exceptional bounce back recently.

Final divi works out at 1.27p per share according to my currency converter. not a bad yield. As Seymour Pierce calculates it, it's 5.2% for the year (0.5p interim plus 1.27p final = 1.77p total, which is about right at 5.2% of today's start price of 34p)

4 x Average volume today - some ii is definitely stocking up on TPJ. Long may it continue - a bit of news would be nice too. Up about 60% in the last week or so.

There's definitely something goin' on with this share - been some consistent buying in the last week or two. It's certainly moving a lot each day and mainly North. got to be ii action to me as displayed by the rounded number trading which pi's rarely do. 11th June RNS, Fraser announced : "I look forward to announcing the drill results from the ongoing programme at Manus Island, with Newcrest, and developments regarding our project at Wamum, with Barrick, during the next two months." Well it's 3 months now since that statement - personally I don't think there is going to be much announced in the near future(as is usual for TPJ), IMO simply ii's adding to their portfolio more of this stock when it is so piteously low. One day the worm will turn so why not stock up on it now, if there's anything in our licences someone will want them off us one day. HOLD for a long time yet me thinks.

Here's a bit more news. Fraser replied the day after I wrote back repeating his view on Crater he gave months ago : You may be right re: the seller. Non of the news from GOA(Gold Anomaly - Crater's main owner) has been price sensitive or even interesting from a value perspective but you obviously receive their mail shot announcements so you know the same. We hope they find funds and recommence drilling soon to change the status of the project from a low grade bulk tonnage story that is currently uneconomic. Fraser, We've had quite a bit more news from GOA about Crater since last I emailed you. Will TPJ be making any announcements soon on this or other projects? The sp is still floundering and is under concerted selling pressure today. This looks like ii selling - any comment. Regards, He got back same day : 'There has been nothing material or price sensitive (or substantiated for the purposes of AIM) regarding GOA's work at the project or announced possible and conditional fund raising which could see the recommencement of drilling at the project so we have nothing to report until they close their potential fund raising, recommence drilling and then provide results. As you are no doubt aware the sector has come under constant negative investor pressure in the global equity markets for ~12 months and has seen risk averse investors move to more secure havens. In any event we are in the enviable position of having funds through until the end of next year on the current model and I hope to be able to announce positive news across a number of our projects in the coming months. since 13:20 - 19 x 100,000 shares. somebody wants out big time - expecting a (non) holdings RNS soon. Now would be the time to buy some more if one had any confidence in the company.

Because ????? We're going to get Crater Mountain going much sooner and GOA reckon it's 'shaping up as a major gold and copper deposit'. Fraser - no comment. I must give him another email soon to see if he thinks TPJ is going under or not.
