Really not good news but difficult to tell how bad. This Morobe project with Newmont has been just mapping and sampling for about 9 months @ $1m a month costs to Newmont 'to de-risk future drilling'. They have obviously not got the money or inclination to continue with this at the moment. However, they are heavily invested in TPJ : Newmont Ventures Ltd 22.36% holders of TPJ shares. So now it sounds as if they'd like someone else to take the risk and start up the Morobe project without them. Fat chance? Watch this space, but don't hold your breath. They must be mighty heavily down with their shares so it's not just us pi's. So, at the moment that's one more project off our books. No Vietnam, no Morobe. Leaving us Newcrest and Manus Island(further results soon), Barrick and Wamum(results expected soon), Gold Anomaly and Crater(stalled somewhat). So, it's not all over yet, just getting a bit too close for comfort. Hold - it's too late now for anything else.

You're holding the fort here - and very well. IMO the company has got a lot going for it and the sp will come back. About £9000 of shares traded so far today, but as of late, it's affected the sp southwards. 33% down in a month because ? nothing.

Agree, can't be buying back 1million a day or more if they think they're going to go lower. When/how do directors get money out? Ans. they've got to take a tranche out for themselves at some point, maybe their kids are coming over here to Uni., maybe they need another lear jet, who knows. Still they have got masses still in - they sold 50million but still hold collectively 18.5% - that shows a bit of belief. Sp will get back to 33p - 35p within weeks probably. Will need the news on the new fruit processor soon to kick it higher IMO.

It's all on a Wing and a Prayer - suppose it always has been. Can see this going belly up within 12 months. I suppose management to be fair are doing their best, are keeping us informed, and are keeping costs down. They always seem to slight GOA - to me they are the most active, just completed a rights issue for funding too. Long-term prayer. (Not long-term share - lol)

Well I suppose the buyback at these levels makes sense - taking out some shares from circulation that are only valuing the company much below it's true value. God this share is so manipulated though. I sense oriental mis-doings myself with lots of dodgy deals being made behind doors. Maybe wrong and there is no secret squirrel/cloak and dagger stuff but IMO there is. Shares tipped this share around 36p with stop loss about 30p, Seymour Pierce has reiterated 4 times in November (the latest 15th Nov) it's 50p target!!! They can't both be getting this so wrong on NO BAD NEWS except directors and ii's reducing their holdings unless something fishy is afoot.

Repurchase on again. Today's RNS : the Company repurchased 1,050,000 of its own shares on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on 21 November 2012, at the highest and lowest price of HK$3.54 (GBP0.2875) and HK$3.21 (GBP0.2607), I suppose this is helping but I hate share repurchases. They put up the earnings per share which can definitely make the directors look good and perhaps increase dividends long-term, but seems like such a waste.

not really holding. Noticed today HK ACHL down 7.67% so we were always going to open well down. Why HK down? Maybe more big selling there - high volume at 13.9m today. All bets are off, all theories crushed, Directors happy they got 50m away but sp tumbling now thanks.

First the big director's sell, then Value Partners sell, now Wellington sell, 14m sells Friday 16:29 (awaiting RNS), Divi price settled, scrip divi offered @30.7p (!), and now new Repurchase scheme starts up, meanwhile Oranges continue to grow. Quiet isn't it? Repurchases may stabilise sp (up today 3.83% in HK) with repurchases equalling 20% of trades there today. There is definitely MASSIVE trading and price manipulation going on here. The directors got their shares away @35.12p(just the 50million!). We've not heard which ii's got these but it must have been more than one cause it was 4%+. Can't believe the directors have conspired together to shaft some ii's. So what is going on. The sp is now 'on the mend' IMO and this share repurchase is the direction change indicator. My hunch is that the whole period 5th November(Directors sell) till now has been completely orchestrated. Massive shorts probably went on by those in on it and now the deal is done IMO - time to get it back up to 35p. Please add your views but something has occurred out of the normal while the good old oranges never heard a thing!

More insipid results from the Kisi-Soon Poet epithermal gold-silver system on Manus Island, Papua New Guinea. Little to write home about from PNG. There's always the next set of results dangled before us. I hope this isn't going to end up in about a year's time as a total waste of time. The 'Triple Plate' was in Vietnam and that's now gone to Bill for a fiver or was it £1. Will we ever get great results from anywhere but Crater(8%) which Fraser has pooh-pooed as a lot of hot air about a very difficult mining prospect. Hold (still).

They've reached my support, if not many peoples! Results not good, but not this bad, in medium term. Maybe even bounce shortly. How is there such discrepancy with India? Got to level out between the 2 exchanges soon.

Directors emptying their pockets of loose change - pathetic really.

If this 50m went to one institution, that's 4% and a holding RNS. Expect one shortly if one institution. I believe the rules are "Above 3%" disclosure. If the institution's intentions are good(song there!) what's the problem? Directors still hold 18.5%.

over 25% since our gracious directors dumped 50million shares. Stupid me, if I'd noticed the time difference giving us an escape on Friday afternoon, we could get back in now for 10% more shares. No-one has any news which is unfortunate, just seems the size of the dump to me that's caused this havoc. Maybe they want the cash for their new lear jets or some other toys, who knows. what the doctor ordered. More of : Buy the rumour, Sell the news, me thinks. Rising into results which probably were quite predictable to anyone following exchange rates. The future for this company definitely looks secure and profitable. Gotta HOLD, averaging down would be good but no cash. It'll turn around, just a matter of time.

today; of course they were closed @ 2:30 pm Firday and are down 10.5% at close today. It's now on support line around 28p. Director sell has caused all this IMO and bounce back WILL occur if there's no business reason for their sale.

All good except foreign exchange losses - may get good market reaction today, and looking good medium term.

Massive 50m sell by director's on Monday. This was done 'off-exchange' @ 35.12p. Been looking at 'off-exchange' the mechanism used for such massive institutional transactions. Interesting reading, they use these 'dark pools' to complete their order in, selling all in this case at the same price of 35.12p. Imagine selling 50m on the market, as soon as the market got wing of it the sp would tumble, but this way they got the whole lot done at the agreed price. But, no wonder the price has tumbled 10% since with so many shares around. I suppose the directors want to realise some of their assets to cash at some time and their company Market Ahead Investments Limited still holds 225,069,919 ordinary shares representing 18.456%. The third 40,000 tonnes capacity fruit processing plant is expected to become operational in first quarter of 2013 with trial production in December 2012 - that might help.
