Ha, not sure I’d use that language about AB !, but she clearly wasn’t bought in to expand the Company, more unlock ( sell ) its parts where intrinsic valve wasn’t being fully recognised. Whilst the world’s growth is not within the territories AB is now focused upon, she knows AV is a juggernaut that even she can keep on the road

Wyn.....A Mortality rate of 1% is great provided you’re not in it !

It seems acknowledged that the world won’t now be able to eradicate this virus partly as many poorer countries don’t have the means to carry out effective Test & Trace or vaccination programmes. So we will learn to live with it and accept a degree of mortality is inevitable, much like we do for common flu. ( circa 10,000 annual deaths ) .Clinicians also now have a much better understanding of how to deal with Covid so becoming infected isn’t necessarily the end ! At some stage during the early vaccination programme our beloved Government scientists will quickly be revising their mortality predictions and once those hit ‘acceptable levels‘ attention will be focused on getting the economy back on track. Testing will continue as a passport to activities but I see much of that cost being placed upon the private sector. Can’t see many taxpayers happy to fund your Test to catch a flight/cruise or get into a Football stadium. What we don’t need is for Medusa to slap on a high transaction charge !!

Profit......I have every confidence that AVCT will deliver & likely offer ‘ best in class’ that will deliver a healthy Revenue stream for some time to come, hence remain invested. I just counter some whose SP predictions seen here will likely lead to disappointment !

Unfortunately it’s only a Vaccine that will get us out of this mess and that’s where all Government funding will be directed once supplies start coming thro. Yes Testing will remain for some time but with a few exceptions Test & Trace hasn’t fully worked given so many choose to ignore it.

we get some positive news re: validation of the BAMSTM Assay & AVA60000 application, before year end to help underpin the SP, as we can expect further vaccine headwinds from now on. In particular J&J are likely to announce trial results shortly and if, but it’s big if, they’re positive then the Market will react accordingly, given its a single dose vaccine. Of course we may be surprised with a more positive LFT update before Q1, but not banking on it.

Agree, as good as we could have expected given PM8/ Seligi incident but at least that will now be ramping up thro next year to coincide with higher POO. Done well to survive in such good shape considering global issues to hit them .

Just bear in mind about 25m in the UK are over 50 ie the more vulnerable group , of which roughly 50% will take the vaccination ( for Flu to take up rate is circa 45%) .
All rough figures but a significant number of the vulnerable who will take the jab could be vaccinated within 3/4 months !

Thankfully the wider Market had been reasonably quiet today so we haven’t taken a fall further than our own lack of progress was going to inflict anyway. No doubt in the weeks to come the Covid chasers will be back, second guessing every social media comment and clambering for another update to justify their temporary investment. This has now become a slightly more difficult share for traders !

Haven’t read the original post as the Headline suggests it was written by an idiot. The only possible cause for negativity with AS was his recent Share sale as at that time he would have been aware of process headwinds, but who in his shoes would have done differently. Most here clearly are in for the short term and probably have just been sitting on their backsides whilst being furloughed, so credit to him for working his butt off. Lets see where we are in Q1 ‘21 !

Well those projecting a SP of £5 /£10 & beyond by year end are probably writing up their excuses !

Well until now it hadn’t been established that TT was at all possible with a chance of the project being abandoned due to cash depletion.....who do you think’s paying for this ? . At least progress is positive , albeit slow , but it’s a highly difficult task they are trying to solve.

The big unknown currently is whether Pfizer achieve FDA Emergency Approval and whether other Countries will take that as an all clear, or will they wait for General Approval which is likely to take at least another 6 months. That said PF. Expect 20m doses available in Dec, racking up to achieve 1.3 billion doses in 2021. My suspicion is the UK and others will seek supplies ASAP to treat the more vulnerable in society...life has never been more of a gamble !

Whilst we all know that AS is awaiting on the Governments CONDOR programme to clinically evaluate BAMS, we are after all within the midst of a global pandemic, so you would hope that those we are now relying upon are actively working as close to 24/7 as possible . In such circumstances no one could possibly complain if AS just provided an interim update of progress.....at the moment silence may suggest we haven’t been a priority !

Wyn...no I won’t argue with your clear mathematical prowess as feel I must be in the 80% group that can never properly work out gambling odds . Did you see CMC Market results ....Revenue £230 ...Profit £140m with company boasting that 80% of punters lose money ( although most will have thought they were on a winner ) but it’s the Boss who takes the £16m Divi . So an escalating 4% projectory looks good to me !
