Maybe placing a few bets in the hope of some RNS announcement on Thursday (on a T+2 settlement)?
As others have been posting, there are a couple of announcements expected soon.

If Thursday's a blank, then expect the sp to fall again.

That's hardly a revelation.
As well as being very good at knowing the law and presenting their cases brilliantly, "successful" lawyers also make their money by stringing it out. They always have and always will (e.g. Jarndyce v. Jarndyce!).

I suspect some were lining-up for a possible RNS this morning (being Thursday) and then cashed-in when it didn't materialise.

This hasn't much/anything to do with the volatility of PoO, which has always been an issue.

This is more to do with setting a realistic valuation for lost profits, just as the World PoO collapsed in unique circumstances, added to the fact that World oil supremacy is already entering its final phase(s) before having to give way to alternatives.

Under these circumstances, setting a realistic valuation that all parties can accept is nigh-on impossible.

Interesting history lesson, but those who have been following this knew all this very well already.

What no one seems to be able to explain is the procedure that must currently be under way, where the tribunal has probably reached its conclusion, but is holding back for some reason, probably because the PoO has plummeted in very unusual circumstances, so how do they arrive at a satisfactory figure for lost profits, when the future direction of economic activity and the corresponding PoO isn't just uncertain, but virtually unknown.

If there were to be no award at all, the tribunal could announce that immediately, so the indications are OK, but the figure highly speculative unless the tribunal is allowed to defer its announcement.

Just had a thought: WTF will Nigoil, Gozzie, Ralphybabes and the other nutters do if RKH is taken out?
Hope they don't come prowling round here to fill their time.

We can all be wrong (and with RKH often have been), but I have a feeling that RKH won't be around until first oil.
If I were to take the plunge in the NFB, as well as getting very cold and wet, I'd want to be in control and not have some tuppenny ha'penny outfit like RKH getting in the way, having to involve the likes of Sam and having to consider RKH shareholders.
No, RKH will have to go, but only when the time is right and the opportunity presents itself.

In the mean time, RKH and its band of crackpot shareholders, including Nigoil, Gozzie, Ralphybabes and the other nutters can keep themselves occupied posting their Daily Drivel.

Personally, while we all know that we've got to move away from fossil energy, governments are faced with a terrible dilemma, having to regenerate economies as soon as it's safe to do so, otherwise there'll be unimaginable civil unrest, with the dispossessed having lost everything and nothing more to lose.

The only abundant sources of energy cheap enough to achieve this are oil and gas. Yes, the move to renewables is likely to accelerate, but the global infrastructure currently isn't there, so I agree that fossil fuels will be in demand for quite some time and there may indeed be a supply shortfall once economies get going again.

Regarding Ralphy's informative comment, yet another example of someone who likes the sound of his own voice enough to prove to everyone else that he didn't read the exam question, but just had to say something anyway.

Cyan, I've watched and re-watched Malcy's interview with TD and there was something peculiar about that brief mention of SL.
I'm pretty sure they'd agreed that it would be odd if SL wasn't even mentioned, but that there's something going on which can't be discussed.

Navitas haven't gone away yet and there are a few other straws in the wind that support the idea that SL is by no means dead.
If SL goes ahead, and I still believe it's probable, it'll be in a very different set of circumstances than everyone was expecting a few months ago. I have a few theories, but probably better to wait and see.

While Nigoil continues to vilify his fellow shareholders over on ADVFN, funny how he doesn't have anything to say about Sam.

Incidentally, regarding Sam, I think we all share the view that he's a greedy, selfish individual (stronger descriptions are available), but having amassed such a lot of share options and with the potential of SL within reach, surely he'd be one of the last to watch RKH just go tits-up?

So, to all the doom-spellers, it doesn't need a genius to work out that it's not an enjoyable experience right now, but it isn't over yet by a long chalk.

ADVFN used to be the more sensible/mature BB, now it's like a nut house with the awful Nigoil beating-up anyone/anything that disagrees with it.

I believe he was in the Paras, which is sort of their way of operating (e.g. Bloody Sunday) - i.e. beat-up, or shoot anything that gets in the way.

Yes fuddstone, but after the iceberg had done its damage, it was the leadership of the captain that helped to save so many lives.
In this case, instead of an iceberg there's been Coronavirus and the collapse of PoO, followed by no leadership from Sam, except for tucking away as much of our money as he can, without being convicted of fraud.
It's at times such as this that shareholders really need to see and believe that their BoD know what they're doing and doing that well.

Yes - I think they'd pre-prepared merely to mention SL (not to have done so would have looked odd and raised questions), but not discuss it.
That's because TD has already been responsible for too many false dawns, which have come and gone and there really isn't much for PMO to say about RKH until economic activity revives.

The main announcement awaited for RKH shareholders is the tribunal award, which we have discussed to death, so I'm doing the garden and it's very nice outside at the moment!
Nigoil (on ADVFN), Godders and a few more can continue to waste their lives pontificating to a virtually (pun intended) empty room, while the rest of us enjoy ourselves.

Just had a look at ADVFN and what used to be the more grown up, articulate BB, is now a complete mad house, with Simples Simon (alias *******) bashing anyone who disagrees over the head, and most of the rest of the posts correspondingly bonkers.

I wonder at the combined proportion of their lives these clowns must have wasted and continue to waste.
As they account to St Peter for their contributions to humanity, as they prepare to meet their maker, will any of them regret having wasted so much time, posting such astonishing rubbish?

I've absolutely no idea what WILL happen.
However, with some legal experience, I would guess that if there was to be no tribunal award, then that could have been announced yonks ago.

Assuming some award, where lost profits would comprise a significant part, how can a tribunal calculate a sensible figure, when the World's economy has gone into suspended animation and the PoO with it?
Who knows what the ICSID procedures are, for such an unprecedented event as COVID?
I'd be interested to know how an acceptable "lost profits" figure can be reached before reasonably normal economic activity resumes.
Only then would it be possible to know how PoO is going react - for example, what will happen to US shale producers and will (cheap) fossil fuels initially be used even more to enable economies to recover more quickly, with renewables having to take a temporary back seat?

A fair legal process has to allow for new evidence to be discovered, but that would be extremely unlikely and in this case, vanishingly unlikely.

Danger Man, there can only be an appeal if new facts, previously unknown to the Tribunal and the applicant, are discovered and there are time limits on this too.
While I agree that all angles need to be examined, there is no need to raise issues that muddy the water, unless you include the supporting procedural facts and references.

I think the delay is a good sign.

If there was to be no award, ICSID would have told RKH's lawyers ages ago: "that's it, bad luck".
If there was to be a small award, that could probably have been dealt with by now, even with the COVID confusion.

The delay is very frustrating for everyone, but probably points to a reasonable award, which has been affected by the drop in PoO, thanks to COVID.
How can anyone reach a proper award evaluation, which all parties can accept, when the PoO is artificially depressed in this way?
Maybe they're postponing the announcement until more normal economic activity resumes, or perhaps they might announce an interim award, with the full award announced once more normal economic activity has resumed and the PoO adjusted accordingly?

Whatever the case, while the silence is nail biting (as RKH's cash reserves disappear), I can only see it as a positive sign.

As I've said many times, with this one you've got to be patient, or you've got to get out and take what's left of your money elsewhere.
