May I also say, buzz, that you clearly haven't taken the trouble to read any of my older posts, otherwise you wouldn't get on your high horse.

We're discussing the situation NOW, in the light of all that history, where after banana skin after banana skin Sam and his cronies (you perhaps?) STILL aren't showing signs of having learnt any lessons about the need to be prudent.

I agree with the points made by Glenrothes, and that ANY money saved until first oil is important, not only because of the money saved, but also because of the signals of prudence it conveys.

buzz, you're missing the point.
The issue is of poor management by pigs with their snouts in the trough, however well-qualified, having all the right connections and brilliant they may be (which is questionable).
A good management team (and there are many examples) would have kept shareholders better informed and cut back on their own remuneration until THEY delivered something spectacular. I think it's called "an incentive", rather than being greedy.

I'm having an inane discussion with HL about the letter of representation - maybe I'll have to phone them, as the people handling the messages seem a bit dim!
Also no acknowledgement from RKH, so wondering what to do there - presumably everyone else is experiencing the same?

Glenr, after all the effort you've put into this, what's your opinion about people not receiving an acknowledgement and what to do about it?
Would it be fair to assume that if RKH don't reply, they're probably going to claim that they never received these emails?

I sent my letter by email to RKH yesterday, asking for an acknowledgement. I used a couple of email addresses that have been answered promptly in the past. This time my email wasn't rejected/undelivered, so I know they've got it.

I suppose, if RKH don't reply, they can say they never received it, so I propose that all who've already sent their letter/email, asking for an acknowledgement but not received one, should email again saying something like:
"Regarding my email entitled 'Notice of my intention to move resolution at the AGM 2021', I requested an acknowledgement, which, so far, you haven't sent. I know you have received it. If you do not acknowledge my email as requested, I shall assume that you are attempting to deny its receipt and I, and other shareholders, will be asking about this at the AGM" - or something like that!

If you want evidence of dishonest, slippery management, look no further than a management team that ignores the receipt of important correspondence that they don't like.

Might it be worth sending actual "Signed For" letters? Trouble is, it's a fag and I doubt if enough shareholders will be prepared to do that, to get us over the required number.

Not sure of the finer rules and regulations, but if we start rewording proposed resolutions now, does that mean those who've already submitted their letters will have to re-submit with the revised wording, so that all are the same?

I think I'd be inclined to keep things as they are, otherwise we'll have several versions flying around and Sam & Co. will be able to say that for proposed resolution 2, there weren't enough submissions.

Any thoughts about contacting RAB Capital, Aedos Advisers and anyone else?

Godders, I think we understand why you moan incessantly, but if you want to do something to help us and more important, help yourself, then joining-in really will make a difference.
If we succeed, you'll feel much better, and even if we fail, we can all say that at least we tried.

By succeeding, those who've contributed to your current state (e.g. Sam) will hopefully be feeling seriously and publicly chastened.
So it really IS worth the effort.

Not much point posting about what should have been done in the past.
We should be discussing what should be done now.
Thought it was largely assumed that Sam is likely to survive for the time being, but that shouldn't stop as many as possible making their disapproval known here, and then voicing that directly to Sam/RKH.

Some here are quite thick-skinned, but if you had your supposed supporters' club members turn on you and repeatedly point out your failings, some must get through.
Sam regards this as his personal fiefdom and no doubt Mrs Sam eggs him on, telling him not to take any notice of us oiks.

Now that we have this impressive and growing list, any suggestions as to what we could/should be doing now, rather than just waiting for the AGM?

e.g. demanding the voting figures from last year?
