RE: Bored , bored, bored6 Feb 2019 12:19
As I said yesterday, I have real sympathy for investors who have got it wrong and like "rabbits in the headlights" maybe just sat and watched the sp tumble, not knowing what to do.
It's those that then come to this and other BBs, and insult/mock posters/shareholders that I have issue with and Ralphybabes is one, as is Gnomebrain, just because they're bitter and twisted because of their own incompetence at gambling.
If they made a mistake in their strategy, they have to take responsibility for it and not blame the rest of us, nor Sam and the BoD.
I'm not thrilled that it's taking so long, but let's say we somehow get rid of Sam and the rest of the Board and put in place people prepared to do this job (as one moaner posted), for say, £80k/year out of offices in, say, Watford, can you imagine what a bloody shambles it would be?
Stephen Phipps squeezed DES until the pips squeaked, while taking the whole thing over a cliff.
I don't like the capitalist idea that business leaders should take home £Millions + perks, while their staff earn minimum wage, or less, without any benefits at all.
However, in our case, our BoD has navigated RKH through some exceptionally and unexpectedly rough seas, coming out solvent, while many of its peers don't even exist any more.
For this, you have to pay the rate to retain them, or go to the wall.
