That suggestion shows just how much the carrot has its finger on the FI local pulse. If you really mean this, then the rest of your postings are now completely discredited.
I know a number of people who live/work in the FI. It's true to say that, generally, they don't want their region turned into another Dubai, or into some other commercial circus, nor do they want a Deepwater Horizon disaster either.
However, for them this is a once-in-an-eternity opportunity to accumulate some wealth and reserves, as humanity faces a very uncertain future.
There are a very few dissenters, as you might expect, probably because of the potential disruption to their gentle lifestyle.
No one can predict with any accuracy how all this will progress, but it's up to the FIG to ensure it meets the vision of the majority, while taking into account the concerns of the minority.
So I ask again, carrot, at the moment, how do you see your new RKH Port Stanley office conducting its business, delivering value to shareholders, which is something you've moaned about more than most?
