Yes Task it could and hope it soon does climb back to 7400 but on the down side there is massive support at 7290, if it breaks through that we are all in trouble. I am opting ( hoping ) for a further gains. Just been short on USD / CAD I was somewhat late to the party but a right old bun fight going on there got out with 5 points............ Gold Trump debt ceiling hurts the dollar............ so where does the money go into gold and happy to say made 7 points and out again. The dollar is on the floor right now. I traded the dollar basket yesterday but wont do it again need big pockets as it moves quite a bit... Any way i am off the markets for a while let it settle a bit. May be be back later Gl all

The FTSE bounced off support at 7320 today giving us FTSE share holders some welcome relief ( a nice bullish candle so far) Ive been Long on Brent Crude........... Short on the USA dollar basket and Short on the NZD/USA . National Grid has been the best performer for me today so far. My Japanese fund is down, due i believe money going into the Yen making Jap equities more expensive. Been a bit of a roller coaster today trading, so have come out with 13 points. Still long on gold as North Korea shenanigans gives gold good fundamentals........... Coffee time now Good luck all

Hi GS I am also in Llyods and Lgen, yes both good long termers i believe. Had a good day on the EUR/GBP short and a couple of points on the long gold................ ISAT i am crying in my milk as you know i hold a wad of them, I hope they recover at ex least a divi in 9 days time so will continue to hold for now ........... GL all

Lol we are all news searchers in this game.. I seem to recall that Investors chronicle I C ( the bearbull income fund had a buy on this in July If memory serves. At my time of life i am more interested in dividend income than short term gains on the shares i actually hold. I do trade a bit on leverage but my personal P/F is my main concern Ill be holding ISAT for income. GL all

The next Inmarsat dividend will go ex in 9 days, 14th September for 16.34p and will be paid in 2 months. Ive bought another 100 shares. It does jump about all over the place this share but if your not to bothered about the ups and down's its a great income share. good luck all

Thanks Task took it at 1338 ................. now gone short on on EUR/GBP rather than long on GBP/EUR ............ seems to me there is more volume in the short Gl to your self
