Task your GBP JPY short not really the right time to enter in my view.. You had no real trigger. Plus try learn or get you head a round the correlations. The ftse was going up and the yen was going up not ideal for that pair. keep an eye on the indices at all times... EG think about what you are doing re your short you are selling GBP and buying Japanese yens hard luck though for being stopped out Mondays are always a bit difficult to find setups . The options have closed on the previous Friday and often there is no clear direction. Mondays are a good day to look for potential setups. for the rest of the week but iv not had time yet. i will tomorrow come up with something. I was out most of the day but picked up a few points shorting eur yen early on. Task when you say 82k and 50k short trade what do you mean by that? . Gs will think a bout comp share very soon........ Ps you should be well in the money on your Ether trade

Divergence is beginning to set up You / we could try it with a tight stop, as it might carry on north to the 13000 leval. before it goes south again Lets see what the Asian session brings tonight. Totally missed the short on Hils as havent been trading since Thursday but there may more to come. Dixon's worth keep an eye on. Its down as a buy in investors chronicle but ???? . Task.......... F/X a bit bouncy at the moment to many fundie announcements of late. Its hard to call until it settles a bit. The old traders saying "let it centre until you enter" ive been shorting the pants off EUR /JPY and AUD JPY Its just been giving me a headache to be honest. Ive come out with 17 points so happy enough and picked up 87 points for the week so not too bad. Hills not yet to short but soon............ USD JPY you should have had a good run out of it and its retracing north a bit now. Keep your eye on the Nikkei when the Nikkei goes down so does do the currency pairs. Gl all

Good start to the day 16 points on a limit over night a further 5 so far this morning shorting USD JPY. and hopefully more to go FOMC tonight should be fun to watch . volatility abound Task i hope you held onto Dixson C. a nice pop north this morning 12 points . EZJ looking bullish again.. AV struggling a bit.... IG keep saying there is a Christmas rally in full flow ...... I haven't seen much evidence of it yet. Picked up 19 points on short EURJPY currently short on USDJPY . Hot.......... as GS hasn't currently responded.............. Its available to hold on some platforms its a tracker priced in Euros on the Stockholm exchange (ETH.XBTE). I am waiting for a crpyto currencies investment trust to be launched before i jump in. I am pondering on whether to go circuit training tonight it looks dam cold out there Gl all

Ive set up a short on USD JPY in readiness for FOMC on Wednesday...... Looked at shorting EZJ again this morning but haven't, not yet . I am waiting for a stronger trigger Matt the B your winter wheels, the only thing i put on in the winter is my winter coat, hat and gloves lol . Task... Dixons holding up reasonably well under the circs, if you are in it might be worth hanging onto for a while. Saga a tiny bit of light there today but it looks short lived to me. I am staying well clear of it. got to change a headlamp bulb on my car now apparently temperature drop makes them blow when they are a bit old Good luck all

GS hope you dont get to attached to Saga looks like its become a very unloved share very quickly and looks likely to continue!. Friday A short on the DAX a short on the AUD USD a short on GBP AUD a short on EUR /JPY and two longs on Wall street. All scalps really... Ended up with a small profits and went to the pub. Came back fell asleep and ... congratulated my self that Task thinks that i am a youngster, thanks Task keep it up. Later went out for a curry, life is getting harder, i know! My IPO never happened so i asked for the funds to be put back into my account.... Broker loved that, i had to put it in writing ......... I ask you?? . PS loads of snow now where i am........... good luck next week guys

Had Flu jab this morning then out Christmas shopping most of the day ( I know like you HOT commiserations all round) got home suddenly felt tired ( must have been flu jab ) or wallet diminishing condition which comes on this time of year. Just jumped on to IG took 10 points on EURJPY short .......... Telly time now..... well done Hot on another 100 points .. I am watching EZJ to short maybe over the next week it might turn worth watching any way.. Ok so here i am posting intelligent share chat and all i get back is Rachel Riley's skimpy tight dress.. Ok it will be catch up TV for me as soon as i stop typing... In the meantime I had a much better day than i thought i would, took 3 shorts out of EURJPY trading them across divergence for total of 30 pips ( 10 pips on the Dow and 12 points on standard chartered. So i am happier than i was yesterday...... Ok what station is countdown on. PS come back Hot i need my fellow trading buddy to compare notes with......... Plus where is Taskmaster....... Really choppy out there......... Horrible day yesterday Brexit negotiations playing havoc with my EUR GBP shorts. got stopped out big time ( only to find it went back again later in the day) humbug Not much better today picked up a long on Standard charted to snatch back a few points from yesterday... Currently short on EUR JPY and again chopping about... ( not totaly confident) Josh trade of the week went horribly wrong again goodness know why he went long on the US tech on overbought and in the middle of a channel. Ive applied for some shares in an IPO TRI Pillar infrastructure fund, should know tomorrow if successful... At least with IPO no trading costs and no purchase tax so a bit of a discount i guess............. Aviva struggling we need FTSE rally, plus AV to get their RIET floated and out of the way.... . Hi Hot yes you are right about a REIT being a real estate investment trust but the main difference is, compared to other investment trusts is that by law 90% of the taxable generated income has to be returned to the share holders. Usually by dividends and on a regular basis. so they if they perform well they are excellent income vehicles.. New river is a REIT ( an old share of mine) they bought up a load of old Marstons pubs and sold them to made into Co Op food stores.. Nice work on your dow and dax trades. and welcome back to the foray!!. I eventually got out of my F/X short with a few points. I am still in silver, long Your musings yes we are on the same page but i guess its because i dont use bolinger bands or RSI or dma convergence/ crossovers but i see where you are coming from re 495.490 or next 485. If the Ftse gets moving it might bounce from where it is now as there was very little selling today! Hot we dont use brooms we have a steam mop now, plus we now have electricity due to very cheap share price on National Grid........ Re ITV another unloved share by the city nothing wrong with it whatsoever!! . Task......... Dixons IC have had it as a sell for good while, not looked at the techs but its again an unloved share by the city .......... Good luck all cavers

GS Ether has broken out again today so you should be quids in (until tomorrow at least) No disrespect intended just very volatile!! JD......... Nothing wrong with your investing strategy if i remember,you are the patient one and know how to hold on for long term profits.. Still not sure about AV its susceptible to market sentiment and world disasters etc and now they are floating this AV RIET in a few days time. with this impressive yield AV was up at �11 and �12 in the early 2000 and its been in a downtrend ever since hitting about �3 in July 2016. However today Investors Chronicle have it as a buy for the reasons you have mentioned and its almost broken out of the the top of a downward chanel. I concur with most of Hots T/A musings.... Its just one of those shares that has never behaved itself ( like many others i know) but for long term growth and dividend income i prefer investment trusts... Good luck if you invest!! Hi All............... Gs........ Ether has dropped about 11 points today but its still in an uptrend.. Cryto currencies have taken a beating today Bitcoin was down 1000 points at one time but are still out there!! Yikes what a weird day so volatile and up and down.......... I sold my BT shares in my P/F made �140 after costs not bad for a couple of weeks I guess if they drop back down into the channel i might buy back in again.. Made just 12 points going long on EUR USD.........I missed most of it as i was and still am short on AUD NZD which isn't doing what i want it to do yet!! I picked up a long on silver on the drop a bit of a gamble but what isn't?? . AV I am not sure about it they are about to float a RIET as well, just been looking at the prospectus targeting 5 to 7% yield Hmmm i wonder ?? .. Aviva our long term talking about share ah GS its always confounded us......... As long as it keep paying my annuity i dont care........ Task i had forgot it was the last day of the month lots of option battles and squaring up going on......... Note to self dont trade on the last day of the month!!! . Gl all

The Ftse what took me there? It was the double top at 7420 and a possible retracement on the 78.6 fib........... the worst of it was it actually did happened and it dropped down to the 618 to 7042. I was looking for a 1 to 1 risk and a scalp of ten or so points... had my stop too low but and got stopped out on a whisker.... so annoying when your T/A is correct !! Hey Ho etc etc. Closed my AV short this morning for just 2 points. looking at shorts on AUSUSD and GBPEUR and GBPUSD but not yet just looking as going out in a min . I see your Cup and handle on copper ( but cant remember the significance of them ? ). well done on your USD JPY short . Task ........Its become your go to currency pair!!
