Yes GBP still heading south..... it will turn at some point but not yet I think. Provident made a massive mistake getting rid of their home collectors. Damage is done now! GBP/EUR yes been looking at myself............. Yes its definitely oversold but F/X can stay oversold for days on end. Its time it turned but the techs still show it in a down trend. and the fibs are no use. I thought it would bounce around the 11015 but it didn't and just kept on heading south. I have noticed a lot of wicks over the last few days which means its slowing but i will wait for a trigger or two big four hourly green candles that open and close with solid bodies before i go long. Bought in to BGFD ................................. i researched the whole bunch of Japanese investment trusts but settled on baillle G jap even with the a premium to NAV, if the performance can be maintained and the very reasonable charges hopefully it will be a winner.. Gs glad to see you are still actively trading. Closed Dax short yesterday and was well pleased with my self! Ive bought another trust Its JAI JPMORGAN ASIAN INVESTMENT TRUST. I have been looking at Asia for a while as it is an emerging market but Asia is taking off. I had three or four in my watch list. I went for this one partly as it has about minus 9% discount to NAV . Also its doing extremely well right now but also they have recently changed their dividend policy . They now pay 1% of NAV per quarter so its a growth share and an income play as well. I haven't ventured into BGFD yet i am hoping for a slightly lower NAV and more funds . I might top slice my SMT as its currently 74% up held it for coming up to two years and had some divis as well. Ps GS i read somewhere ( IC i think) that Dominoes is struggling so be careful its still trending down . Yes buy SBRY that will be helpful to me LOL The Man GLG JAP Pro bought a couple of weeks ago has got off to a good start 2.7% up in two weeks.. GL all Where is HOT? wishing him and Mrs Hot well

No just ordinary cases but if excessive luggage fees have helped prop up the flybe SP for fellow posters,well its a small sacrifice to make to see other smile! Running a nice short on the DAX . GL all

looks like you have all been busy of late.. Ive got other things on the go and whilst distracted I got punished on f/x short. You cant take your eye of the Forex ball for one minute........... Task, yes good idea to Scalp some times i agree!! Flybe i can tell you i have just booked a flight with them to Jersey for two ....... They make Rynair look like angels. By the time i had booked seats and luggage it came to £352 return they charge you for luggage both ways!! . They will certainly make a profit out of me for sure ! Rant over.............. 888 were under investigation in May by the regulator thats why it tanked .... I dont know if they got a massive fine but more research could bring light onto that subject......... Bet Fred, Gala, Paddy Power, Coral and Mecca bingo have all had big fines imposed on them. Also I dont think 888 its particularly cheap either, but like Gs says its a gamble for sure !!

Hello GS thanks for the link but the deed was done this morning I bought into the Man fund today ( wish me luck) Easy- livin............ hand it all over to them .......... well yes you could do if you are fed up investing and trading your self. Like matt the B says They are a wealth management company and do pretty well i believe... I seem to recall that Woodford was involved in it some years back... Personally i like to spread risk and get the buzz from doing it myself and looking at my P/F . However I can very much understand why you would want to give your " lot "to a management company and walk away from the markets. Bet you dont though lol........... Good luck with your decision

Hi Gs thanks for that link i will take a look at it in a moment............ . Fund decision made on the Japaneses fund. Its going to be.............................................................. Man GLG Japan Core Alpha Professional Class accumulation GBooBoo119B5o.. it looks like its had a few tight years but beginning to fly right now up 31% this year and has relatively low charges and no performance fee. Made 28 points shorting USD CAD yesterday. so just booked 4 days break in Torquay on the profits. Hoping Hot and Mrs Hot are ok let us know if you get a chance Hot ? (I am also researching Japaneses investment trusts, now looking at Baill.gshin BGS )

Hello all some great posts from all you guys. I am ok myself have been busy doing stuff but did a short on USD Bitcoin last week. I've been researching crypto currency for a while and now the block chain is stable it's time to take it more seriously. (even Santander are getting into it.) Any ways I have a huge smile on my face, as last week trade went well. It's a rock and roller at £5 a point you need nerves of steel! Been long on gold today and now closed out for a decent profit . Most of my IG shares are in the red though . Blnd are doing better and will hold for a while. P/F looking well enough with Scottish mortgage (smt ) now 70% up. I am looking again maybe soon at buying VOD purly for the yield. Am also researching Japanese funds and investment trusts for longer term hold.. Task I will take a look at that HCM when I get a minute. Hoping.Hot and Mrs Hot are both doing well. Good luck all and keep trading!!!
