Hot got stopped out of ftse short last night. I really couldn't believe it. I had a huge stop on.. Markets are wierd right now. Forex is all a bit odd as well. ... The techs are not working at the moment.... Massive bull run in May doesnt make sense. for a few days away.

We are all busy maintaining our gardens.. Japanese style sounds cool I don't blame you saving on skip hire. The council tip is the way to go. After all you are paying for it through your rates.

Yes this site has been very slow to get on ive given up a few times myself ............... Been replacing garden fence over the last couple of days, beautiful weather for getting jobs done....... Again running a short on the FTSE but its not going down yet. Yes see Hot where you were coming from re the ups and downs. Just lately i put a target on and walk away so i miss out on the scalps. Still got company here and in for a long haul so I keep finding jobs to do out side. GL all

Yes funds are doing really well. Some of my investment trusts are on 55% profit after two years ( plus dividends) Hot gone missing. I bet the nice weather tempted him and Mrs Hot out to the seaside for a paddle and a ice cream. Incidentally Hot if you are watching i tried a short on the FTSE today and it never really got going. I was about 15 points up at one point but had to go out tonight so I adjusted my stop to break even and it closed about 8 clock . Will try again when momentum turns. GL all

Picked up 10 points on Shell short now closed ...... Will wait for OPEC news. plus dont like hanging around in quarterly dividend paying shares, not exactly a shorters dream .......... Picked up 1 point on ITV and now closed....... The chart looked positive but there is one share that continually goes nowhere fast. Still in RR short not in profit yet but hoping still GS and Hot i refuse to enter into supermarket discussions, i would like to but you are right old women's talk lol . Hi Hot the site was down this morning. .......... So i just kept pressing the button lol I dont care where people shop as long as its Sainsburys Viva Sainsburys ( I am excluded of course, as share holder it would be considered a conflict of interests) . Plus, SBRY Shares stil surprisingly l ramping up Hot I might need some luck on those trades.of mine. where have all the shorters gone? Lol Still got company here but got peace right now. Hot ...............Good to hear Mrs Hot is on the road to recovery........... Not much to report really except Sainburys is at an astonishing high........ Astonishing as it was well in the doldrums the other week after results .Anybody know why its up?? Will be interesting to see what NG does tomorrow after the share consolidation. 12 shares into 11 never made sense to me ........ glad i sold out at a profit. GL traders

Some great posts from you guys yesterday and excellent trades all round. I still have company here so its still difficult for me to trade but i picked up 22 points short on the Dax first thing yesterday. Had a limit order in to sell my National Grid on IG and that was it for the day. . Now just sold my remainder real P/F National grid through Jarvis Brokers. so now sat on a lump of cash >>>>>>>> The NG special divi / share consolidation is a weird one. Ive worked out that i am better off selling up now and possibly buying back on the after divi fall............NG has been good for me as ive had some divi and if you take a look a the chart its been in a classic up trend before and since the announcement . Yes our post crossed over. Nice work on ftse Hot particularly as it was so bullish yesterday . Dollar was selling off like mad yesterday so maybe reason for Dow drops . OIL, gold , Trump. all play a part. . Who knows what's going to happen next. .Election on the way so more crazy volitily on the F/X for sure Good luck with your cat !!

Did you do ok on your ftse short Hot it bounced about a bit ? I tried a long and a short on the Dax today didnt get anywhere came out about even.. been in and out of various pairs but again about broke even at the end of the day. EZJ .......... looking to reenter long but I am not sure the selling is over quite yet Its a watcher for now . GS good luck in talk talk . 50 points banked in 27 seconds on EZJ .......... yippee way to go ( it dropped 65 points in total but couldn't get it filled quick enough. Gl all

No not really..... I jytst recall the last couple of years the winter results are usually quite poor not profitable. Plus it hasn't breached the last higher high. A tight stop and it's a maybe!
