As I read this marine thing CPX has signed a deal with one supplier who is little more than a start-up . The questions is that, while the cake might be big what proportion/slice do we have access to ? I suggest at the moment it must be small. I remember similar claims re truckstart. Still decent rise today
This is positive news but as always, we are able to quantify it. The question is what will persuade investors to buy CPX shares? There is no easy answer to that question but more of the same and a profitable set of accounts would I suggest be two of the most powerful enablers
This is starting to get worrying now as we are heading for the 2ps. Somebody knows something as the market appears to be telling us all is no right. Come on BOD we need to hear concrete reassurance/ something from you as the verdict to date is one of no confidence
If there was any hint of or a strategy for a takeover then the BOD would know about it. The question is do you trust the BOD to act in our best interests? We are bur pawns in this game
The various bits of speculation do make you wonder. Every man has his price. I suspect there is more than an element of truth in the Maxwell theory. Some say its David v Goliath, whereas others say "yes and look what happened there". I am considering a New years resolution not to look at the LSE BB for two months
Read AKs words carefully. All, ifs buts and maybes. Not that I would expect anything else in the present climate. The facts are that until solid figures are presented none of us can be sure as to how successful CPX could be. I await feedback from teh AGM
I believe AK recently said that CPX had no intention of paying any dividends in the near future. Therefore, the only incentive for any investor is an increase in the SP. We need a strategy to try and make that happen. Communication is the key
But with no mention of the agreed rates or details of arrears. Originally, they paid a few million quid over 3 instalments then a 5% rate. If we have achieved total victory, then we are due a considerable sum
Still not answered the question Flash. I get it that market makers want to buy cheap and sell high but that must be a high-risk strategy as there are always other factors at play which are beyond their control. Having said that you paint a picture of AIM as being effectively without any controls or monitoring. If that is the case, why would anyone want to invest in such an environment. It is of course not so bad for cash rich JH and myself (as its only money)
Flash. you talk of manipulation of the SP so could you please explain in layman's terms what you believe is going on here. I get that where there is money involved people will always try and find ways around the system (I used to be an auditor) but whats happening with CPX and how can you prevent/stop it ?
What is "market abuse" and what can anyone do about it? Who regulates it and what evidence is there that regulation is effective. Or does everything come down to "you can't buck the market, warts and all
