George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Quite right Wobble " a guess", There is a lot of wild assumptions being made as to what is going on with this case based on what the writers want the answer to be . All we know for sure is that there will be a winner and a loser but we wont know the answer to that until late 2022.
Brave Man JH still I have already put my money where............ Lets hope our speculation is rewarded . Meanwhile my investment in Russia AMC plummets eve further
Dont worry JH that's only the date of the first trial . I have no doubt there will be some sort of appeals process or Musk will have gone bust by then . Remember what happened to the last Maxwells !! There is something in the name
I find the debate on this board fascinating. You have on one side the eternal pessimists like myself and then they are the rampers who see nothing but roses in the garden. The question is who do you believe? I am always very wary of "this should help in a few years time" publicity and that brings into question the inevitable decision ie do I trust the board's motives? I have been in situation once before when the majority shareholders bought out a company and went private . So the ultimate question to me is not about do I believe the message itself bit do I trust the person delivering it. Now that is a whole different question but it is the one I am always asking myself
I would interested to know if you are a football fan Wobble ? If so you will find that half of investors are derampers constantly moaning about their "investment"
Ducem. I have no intention of being vile. Holders can be ultra cautious and are perfectly entitled to articulate their opinions . I do so mainly based on historic events. Rampers on the other hand seem to think everything is rosy in the garden whereas life most the time just aint like that. I don't however accuse them of trying to manipulate the market ie by holding duplicate accounts . In fact I think I much more tolerant of their views than they are of mine . Still whatever

Quote whatever dreamed up conspiracy theory you want Wobble you cant get away from the fact that the 3ps are coming . Even you cant buck the market
Anything in two figures would be satisfactory for me . The truth is that very few people actually understand how the stock market works . I am sure that "the market" must manipulate things and look after themselves but I have long given up trying to figure out what makes the price go up or down. To me dealing is shares is plain and simply a gamble. The trick is that you should never invest more than you can afford to lose . Do enjoy winding up the rampers though as they probably cant afford to lose their money .
Good god Tanfinch you have done my self esteem a world of good. Thanks buddy
There are many ways that observers try and analyse which way a share will go . Some are very sophisticated and compare known trends and principles others like mine are "gut feelings" i.e. does it look/feel/smell right . The facts that are AK has been the main man since this business was launched and from a shareholders point of view he has not delivered. Yes he has often made the right sounds/noises but projects have not delivered in terms of sales . Equally the IP sides of things has not gone well and I fear the Maxwell case may well yet turn out to be his Waterloo . I listen to all the potential the business has but until such time as that potential is turned into sales and profit I fear we will languish around the current SP . Hope I am proved wrong.
Same as me Sarniasharie. Trouble is my average is in the 6-7ps. Done well trading AFC though. But its only money
How many times have I read that exact same posting over the years
Never mind JH it will be Tuesdane tomorrow
Yet another world class salesman/marketer !!
Fair enough . I suggest that ongoing we therefore put this into the pending folder and await for the process to unfold as quite frankly we have no control over and must "trust in CPX". My only concern then is having to endure Wobble's endless positive links
Succinctly put surprised . I merely comment on the " possible outcomes" and will continue to do so. Everybody should clear as to the risks involved and make informed decisions . The problem here is that everything revolves around a process and technical points that few of us truly understand
Look chaps surely we are playing with words here . It appears that there has been a withdrawal from ADR so one or both parties has elected to go to trial. That is fact. I bring AVX into the debate because they have stopped paying and this appears to be connected . Look like everybody else I want CPX to win but I think we all agree enforcement of our IP is proving far more complicated than many of us first thought . I merely comment on the possible scenarios having seen "now is our time" moments come and go
I don't need to provide any links . I am simply speculating on what we know. Those facts are that Maxwell are electing to go to trial so must believe they have a case . We know also that some ago AVX stopped paying and I recall reading some correspondence between the two, so I speculate that the two cases are connected . As such we know that a decision will be made in Oct . We dont know the strengths of the two cases. That is for the experts. I merely ask what happens if we lose ie does AVX have a case to claim back monies already paid . This has moved on way past the original claims that CPX had world class watertight IP .
If there was any acceptance of guilt one would have thought that a deal could been negotiated before trial. As it seems AVX has also stopped paying presumably because of the same concerns then there must be some sort of major dispute. Also If we loose will AVX then be claiming back the many millions they have already paid. Squeaky bum time me thinks
