Stockopedia report on CCL and Mcro, OCDO. Both considered contrarian low momentum stock in intensive care basically . CCL had a lot of institutional buying presumably in the placing. Very little on MCRO. One write up by an accountant on CCL, so you can imagine he wasn't too keen. OCDO again not a huge amount, obviously a 'high flyer' considered speculative. All mid ranking on quality. Both Ccl and Mcro have low momentum scores but high value potential, where as OCDO scores about 88 out of 100 on momentum, but very low on value score having just reached new high. So there are separate scores for Quality, Value, Momentum which = Ranking . The nearer a stock gets to good scores in 3 categories the higher the ranking. All three have very mixed scores so they are all middle ranking stock. There are several groups covered by different journalists, like good value stock with good momentum, good growth stocks, good momentum stock. I have mostly concentrated on good scores in at least two categories preferably 3 such as WYN, SPT, SLP and ECK . Eck was the last one to move today, although the small stock specialist reckoned it was a bit pricey. I took a decent profit on KWS today a lot of long termers (people that bought at £1.45 and sold at £15) reckoned it was a bit stretched. Good quality, but I think the whole game sector is looking a bit overbought on the immune from coved theme. All the others I continue to hold for now. Anyway Stockopedia is full of stuff, too much to get my head round to explain in brief here. Not a tip service, nothing ramped, just a useful scoring system that seems to throw up some good investment ideas with a comments board for punters and financial writers.
