Thanks T. Managed to get some tut £4.17. A wee bit hi on ccl 10.75! Might have another go in a min . Not used to the pace of sp movement its like timing a lap in a Grand Prix. Normal my stock move at a much more sedate pace maybe changing a couple of times a day!

Thanks T & S for you info. Yes Tui down even more now. Might have a little pop at that and CCL nearer close. Dow only down 90 points, which seems quite mild normally if it drops it drops big at open and hovers for a bit.

S. I think the dow is expecting a bit of a drop what with Hong Kong and Trump and Social Media. I though it was him who asked them to take more responsibility over what gets published on their sites. Don't know how that effects CCL, but having nearly bought might hold off till Monday now. They always used to say never trade on a Friday, especially if you haven't made any money all week. Don't suppose that applies to us! lol

I'm what I think is termed 'overweight' there. Good update but no idea what is going on with the oligarch director Zhevago, who still owns half the company and presumably half the voting rights so re-elected himself with a little persuasion no doubt. Nearly dipped into CCL, I know your long term objective on that is strong. Quite fancied rolls Royce which I haven't owned since it was launched. Not quite down to that level but their must be value there. Maybe best to stick with whats working rather than try and get too clever.

Afternoon all. Not up late, just had a good share clearout and took dog for a walk along sea front till he decided it was too hot. Always good to talk T, and hope your neighbours can see what a genuine guy you are. Maybe give them something to reflect on. Really doesn't help when idiots like Piers (very working class) Corbyn spout on about liberty and freedom, a dangerous commodity when mixed with a complete lack of common sense and respect for what others have so selflessly sacrificed for his welfare. Hope he gets a maximum jail sentence. my rant over!
Finally ditched FXPO. Has done me proud but the news this morning about Zhevago stepping down, which has been well received, strikes as a bit strange if his appeal is supposed to be a formality and effectively he stood down a while back , so why the need to make it official. Maybe over thinking it but better to be safe than sorry and so much easier to sell into a rising market. Probably going to sit the summer out on the subs bench with maybe the odd play no doubt. Gl all.

Really promising news today at last . Astrazenica and Oxford uni are hoping t have a vaccine out there by autumn I think. Boris promises no more austerity. Antony has not an easy question at all . When you say sit on, do you have a time scale. The other big question would be your risk profile. Personally I don't thong 4 is a good number for a long term portfolio. I would recommend either 10 or just invest in tracker funds.

I wouldn't go near MKS till results out 20th. It maybe ok, but I think the upside is very minimal at the moment, and it hit 72p I think back in the march. Very interesting how sentiment changes so rapidly. I'm sure those working on the virus are throwing everything at it, but seem a way off anything really meaningful or substantial. Funny how the very sector I thought would benefit from unlocking, the construction industry, has simply nosedived on the idea of returning to work!

T Wont go near MKS till at least we see what the results are like. People say the bad news is priced in, but I'm not convinced. There are far better opportunities around I think without the agro. I should think CCL is one. S there have been 2x 1 million trades in AFX today. Don't know if they are sells or buys, or possibly one of each. Again poor management communication with the market only recent rns, one about their chief financial officer resigning and the other other about staff shares doesn't tempt me to come back in. Looks like the world has decided to bulldozer its way through Covid 19. Should make for an interesting summer.

SLP the same, I just cant bring myself to sell. They've got so much cash and it really should break out again. Very strange price movements on low volumes and ba news.

T Its ok good to get it out there. I had a friend who lost his wife because some things went very wrong with her treatment. He was awarded 2 million pounds which he didn't take. He said they cant afford it. Just makes the situation worse for others. I guess he want also to make the hospital aware and acknowledge it had failed his wife badly.

Actually they have admitted 1700 deaths. I think it was 18 in Moscow. All the others died of vodka

Inia 56,000 confirmed cases, 1850 deaths since February. Seems extraordinary. I don't know if this doesn't show that we are actually more in control than we acknowledge in our efficiency of tracking the virus. Russia figures are completely ludicrous. 18 deaths. They must think this is some weird sort of competition to report the least infected country.

Hi T. Sounds dreadful. I was just saying how amazing it seems most of the country have been in complying to the lock down. Some people are just completely blinkered. Total ignorance and inability to understand otherwise they would'nt do it. I don't know if it us a genetic thing of being completely incapable of empathising. Definitely you should contact the film makers. Did you record any of it on your phone? WHO are expecting 190,000 deaths in Africa. Haven't seen update on India, last I heard they were doing remarkably well considering.

On Mks and OCDO. Its clearly a big deal for OCDO. For MKS its a small percentage of their business by Kings own admission. It reminds me of the situation RTN got themselves into. Both these companies were in trouble way before the virus. RTN bought Wagamama to try and save their skin, paying through the nose for it. It was just about paying its way but they had and still have a lot of leases they won't be able to shift or use. When your trying to pay down debt and you go in reverse like they both have thats a huge drag they can't do anything about. They have both cut expansion plans. Mks can trade up and down a bit. Don't forget results May 20th Tin hat time. RTN will get broken up at best. Wagamam must be worth something but nowhere near what they paid, about the same as Mks paid for OCDO share curiously.

Hi all. I know this market still looks a bit unrealistic T, but IG were saying on Monday if we broke 5700 down we were likely bear claw, but if we broke 5900 we could be back in bull territory. Sold Air on news, Bad mistake. Still a profit though., and of course the ones I held onto drop back. A large part of my folio are performing despite or because of lockdown. Its the recovery stock that are likely to sell be volatile. Much more stable though. Anyone holding onto the coattails of OCDO. Incredible!

So another survey says the economic impact on the economy is going to be worse than the worst in living memory. Then ends with since records began in 1998. The truth is most of the uk's living memory is a lot longer than 1998. I wish they could give these surveyors something more practical and useful to do than sift through inaccurate and incomplete information to give out completely sensationalist useless meaningless information.
