Agh! Looked at the wrong column on Anpario. They bought 4.5 million quids worth in 3 trades. Thats still an unusually big slice of the pie. Definitely keep tabs on it though.

Amazing what happens after hours. S. Keep an eye on Anpario 20% of company got bought in 3 trades this afternoon very quietly. Bought back MKs I can't believe it! Some massive trade of 32 million shares x2. Think it got published twice, but the sp went up after close. And Air Partner up after close. Strange day again

S. If you do buy seems to be a few pence cheaper in the mornings, like £3.56 instead of £3.60 in the afternoon. Not much but helps cover costs a little. Ex div July17th. Yes I still hold a few TCM in another account bought at £1.24. ouch! They have had some useful updates recently and then the Ints buy this morning persuaded me to get a bigger chunk. Managed to get the cheaper ones in ISA after hanging onto my Vod proceeds. Still very wary of this whole 5g thing. Boris will more than likely screw BT and VOD over having given them the green light to spend on all the infra structure on the who the fukarewe tribe.

S. I bought back TCM today which has risen an almighty 4p after its recent falls. Some Swiss financiers obviously seem to think its worth a punt having bought 4%. I invested in a very low tech bio company called Kiotech way back when for around 3p. They did a consolidation and changed their name to Anpario. They mainly do animal feed additives and clever stuff like species specific pheromones for commercial fishing. Any way I went to an AGM once. There were 2 other shareholders and we were completely outnumbered by the board who were absolutely charming. The CO was production manager on the build of the channel tunnel previously. Any way I do remember them saying the ultimate goal was to build the company up to sell. It was only a 20 million cap then and they are now between 80 and 100 million which is where they want to be. They are into natural products. One of these products a disinfectant also destroys Covid. Hope they told Trump about it. Having sold out a few years back I decided to start building a stake again. They pay over 2% div which I think goes ex in a couple of weeks or less. Better than money in the bank. The spread does get quite wide (3.4-3.7) but was £3.50 to sell and £3.56 to buy this morning. And like Air Partner, Lord Lee (the first share ISA millionaire) has a holding .

No T. You mean The Fanni Titi share? I did dump those along with SSPG last week. Probably needn't have done, but as I think I mentioned before its uncomfortable being in companies I'm not familiar with and I guess I was thinking they looked like good momentum trades. Unfortunately they were, the wrong way! They have had some good business guests on the morning radio 4 show recently and this morning they were interviewing a guy about the lunchtime trade and the sandwich business in particular. I must say 2 slices of bread and a lettuce leaf for a fiver, 5p's worth of coffee beans for £3.00 and 50p's worth of dough and topping for a £12.00 pizza all strike me as habits that are going to struggle to be rekindled now people have had a little time to reflect and hopefully discover the joy, art, value and simplicity of rolling your own! In fact my younger one gets use of a well equipped kitchen and their own gym.

This is a typical example of a market that does not understand what a company actually does. It crashed down to 13p earlier in the year, literally the baby flung out with the bath water. Founded in 1961 it has a very strange history in pilot training, safety and chartering. After telling the market about a million times it doesn't own any aircraft and posting 10 million profit its now the dizzying height of 90p after (of course) a recent placing. About the only company who's sp didn't drop below its placing price. I have mentioned it a few times here but hesitant to recommend at this price. Although it hasn't stopped Lord Lee increasing his stake to over 3% today. Its also my largest holding and have taken profits on a couple of occasions, never falls back enough to make it worth while playing that game. One other dog coming to life is SWG with results overdue possibly coming next month on which it will either die or fly more hopefully.

S. Yes. Just missed this morning when it ducked under £1.26. The CO bought a million yesterday which spiked it to nearly 1.30. However the battle still rages over Huwaie. Vod have emphasised again how important 5g is to uk economy, but they would say that wouldn't they. Dow futures a bit fragile again. Think its sit on hands time again, but if Vod do drop back bit more will probably get a few.

Morning Brigade. Fortunately I cut loose from SSPG last week T. It was one of those poor decisions that I managed to loose in the profits I took on slightly better trades. It just shows not o follow the money always, i.e. HSBC buying in 3 times in 7 days. Bloody hard work at the moment to make anything work short term.

Just got this from IG :The Cannabis Index closed on Wednesday! I dont know what I'm going to do thats just terrible. Especially as I made a few more quids on Vodafone at the bell. Not as exciting as trading CCL but keeps the pennies rolling in.

The possible implication that Trump will be incarcerated either in an asylum or an and Iranian jail 'with requested help from Interpol' makes one wonder who is the bigger looney. Stop panicking A. I do agree that businesses have ben propped up that would have gone bust anyway but overall you have to to make the rough with the smooth. I think a lot of good businesses have been saved . It would not have been possible to say ok you can go bust while we save these other businesses. There wasn't time to make those kind of decisions anyway. The coverid virus we are going to have to learn to live with there is a ton of money being thrown at this from all directions, We can dye trying or just surrender. No point in not attacking the markets whichever is the outcome. Gl

You did well there S. I did'nt quite get the 1.29 on Vod but near enough. Made about £28 out of BT too ! Not a bad tally though for the week as made 2 gains on Vod this week. Its a mess 5g. What with Huwaie and Boris dithering and people in US saying its too expensive to use anyway. Announcement soon on whether they have to rip out all 5g infrastructure and start again. My star though was Wynnstay which I was amazed I could sell in both accounts. Normally only get negotiated trades in big sizes so must be plenty of buyers. Both sells were published as buys so maybe MM got muddled up! So closing a couple of poor trades as well it makes it much easier . Always a risk when you try and hunt new territory. Great swim thanks T. Bit choppy and breezy, but the cycled on to our favourite sourdough pizza restaurant who are now doing takeaway only and sat on the river bank. Far better than sitting in a restaurant anyway. Market getting a little choppy too. 5 placings last night apparently 3 of which already below pp. Just like most of the others!

There are all sorts of ways T of cooking the books. Orders that are hidden, fake orders they want you to see and are then cancelled and probably a multitude of others. I think Ints with major holdings are allowed 5 days to report a trade to the company who the inform the market via RNS. Of course this doesn't always happen as a Pharma company I rang up a few years ago to clarify holdings told me. The dow currently down 1% and we're down nearly 2%. When it goes up the Dow will go 2% and we'll probably go up .5% or maybe 1% if S kicks in!

Yep T. Just bought back Vod @1.26. Hoping to make a double profit this week on that. Think I'm going for more SSPG as HSBC have bought in 3 times in the last 7 days. Great results from agricultural and feed stock WYN this morning which has helped the portfolio no end. You are probably right about fed I hope!
