Either the recent seller cleared yesterday or somebody was taking the opportunity to load up yesterday on what was only a temporary problem that was fixed and behind it as of yesterdays RNS.

Extremely valid point and one for the BoD to improve upon.

The essence of the post though is that temporary problems create opportunities to buy and top up, especially if they resolve themselves quickly and production and operations get back to normal.

May well add if they present any further weakness tomorrow.

There's been a significant drop in the price of oil and gas and in various other commodities also recently so I'm going for a dip in the number.

Hopefully then interpreted as a good sign that the US is getting to grips with inflation and leading to a slackening of the severity of interest rate hikes.

Rose 0.1% last time to 7.1% for the 12 months ending November. Smallest increase tough since Dec 21.

Worth sometimes asking yourself if any event that has impacted the company is temporary. Temporary ones normally quickly resolve themselves.

The US storms and acquiesced agreement by ARB to cut electricity consumption to assist Texas electricity grid will have lasted only as long as the storms and the RNS suggests things are already back to normal.

It fell this morning off the back of Direct Line results. Aviva though is a much larger business concern with diversified insurance products and investment arms. DL falling has probably more to do with not being on any comparison websites which is where people will be shopping in any supposed cost of living crisis. Retail results coming out seem to be defying any cost of living crisis concerns.

All in all not bad reported growth and annual RECURRING revenues and in advance you are right HH that its halfed since the TB approach but more recently been made to retreat from circa £4.00 in advance of the update. Probably overdone and this one at these prices always has the potential of being acquired and to assist someone elses growth story.

I see the currency headwinds have already reversed in only 3 months so lets see what other headwinds reverse.

Seems the City has underestimated what has turned out to be a Festive frenzy for many retailer already. Next week we should hopefully find what slice we grabbed and following on from good reported Black Friday to Cyber Monday sales.

Hoping for a confirmation of the trend of rising sales reported by Next, B+M, Greggs and the collective of Supermarkets.
