Bonkers is a word that comes to mind faramog. That is on calcutions, not even ‘add a zero’ ramp sentence. On the land grab: As South African I can tell you that there is much focus currently on this topic. But the general consensus is that it should be read in context as anything else. In the most recent address by Ramaphosa(video posted recently)- he stated that 1. Land expropriation with or without compensation is in the current constitution and will remain as such. But clarity on the specifics is urgently required. 2. The South African economy is in a critical state and urgent attention. It is the latter point that is ignored by media as they jump on the sensation of ‘land grabs’. Which is a term I recall being shot down by the ANC as it is not the same as land expropriation without compensation. The land grab is rather perpetuated by extremist groups - groups which are not in favour in SA as might be perceived. Getting back to the point of the SA economy and the AnC placin emphasis on its revival it is the belief of the more informed that: - the ANC is in election mode with upcoming 2019 vote ahead - the ANC can thus not afford to lose any votes as at previous elections their near majority share of the votes has dissipated and more so since that election after the end of the zuma saga - the ANC is merely trying not to cause uproar from any side of its now diverse in opinion party and so are trying to keep the party together while boosting the economy - if land expr. w/o compens. does occur, surely it would be to sell land that is not currently profitable to the SA government (in other words NOT a fully compliant tax paying mine/company) and sell it to the chinese to bail out eskom .. as an ‘IMHO’ example
I am not sure of any of this, would rationally assume that SP moves on buys and sell.
But if you are not able to buy on a descending SP, there must be another explanation.
The SP will recover now though. How do I know? Well historically whenever I send funds From SA to my trading acc off shore(which takes an archaic 2days min), the SP seems to gain new strength leaving me to buy at a slightly higher undervalued level.
concious - Alfa would probably know more about this through experience on https://www.thebushveldperspective.com . But it seems that the url : v r f b . c o . u k redirects to busveldenergy website - which is a very clever SEO move , no?
Perhaps some great PR is being done or at least planned.
I am terrible at terrible at calling top and bottom. So selling to buy back is not my game,.
But every time the SP dropped significantly I bought what I could. Each time telling myself I'd sell when the price rises.
I've done this since 2.7p and have had a bad track record selling the shares bought on dips as I promised myself I would.
Even doing this I have not once called the lowest point to buy in correctly.
I saw this link posted on this BB a year ago. It is a platform that shows trades on linear timeline - if a trade is reported late it falls down on the list to fit with timeline. Found it useful, thought I'd share again https://data.shareview.co.uk/trades/BMN/Bushveld-Minerals.html-trades/?https=0&hideSearch=0&hideTabs=0&hideTradeNow=0&hideNav=0&xdjs= www. data dot shareview dot co dot uk - type in BMN (if the link is obscured)
