True Mitch. Also, the overwhelming majority of the population of the community and workers at the mine would not want to jeopardise their jobs in any way. Especially having felt the pinch of unemployment int the time the mine was closed before Bushveld took over.
And so the unprotected action was, as always, a minor group of individuals that will be dealt with swiftly.
Block16legend from my side there are two elements to this topic:
1. BMN as investment : undeniably bright future, tide will turn and fair value will be reached. So I hold as ever.
2. Market manipulation. I believe if there is manipulation in the background it is exactly this stance that allows it to continue. A 6-9 month investigation is all good as long as it gets done. If anything we are in the perfect position to instigate this kind of investigation because we have 6-9 months, other companies might not have had such strong fundamentals to back them. Surely if one after the other company or shareholder requests investigation - over time this will change...
Thanks Alfa
I vote combination of 2) and 3)
I don't always buy into the manipulation theme, sometimes there is merely a large seller.
But the past week or more trading has been odd.
as YTSS mentioned yesterday round 8:33 :
"If those 2 x 100k trades are buys , together with rest of trades this am buys must outweigh sells and still 3% down"
And so I can entirely see that there could be an effort in play to push the sp down here.
This is my favourite bit : "This year we expect to for the first time spell out what the business model looks like what the earnings..revenue model for Bushveld energy would look like. We are quite excited about that cause for the first time investors would have a good sense of what the implications of Bushveld Energy are in so far as the underlying value of Bushveld minerals is concerned."
I now have to pay upward of ZAR19.5 for £1 - 10% more than a month ago.
this means my holding is buffered in Rand terms but excludes me from taking advantage of this particular dip.
Soon perhaps I would be able to dive in on the JSE for these top ups
excatly
so 1000shares bought at 4p = £40
Price goes to 28p : 1000 shares worth £280
=600% profit on initial investm
PRice drops 20% from that level to 22.4p
1000 shares worth £224
= 460%profit on initial investm
So in this example a 20% drop in sp saw this investor a 1140% drop in paper profit.
And the psychological effect is stronger even though the investor is still in considerable profit
None of which is at all important in terms of the BMN prospect, just most interesting in terms of human behaviour
Raffym that might be due to the fact that:
Buying in and seeing a 20% drop in sp equates to 20% reduction of investment.
Where sitting on a 300% profit and seeing a 20% drop in sp results in 60% reduction in profit - on mobile, checks out?

Much has been said on this topic the last week especially.
Look up posts by Tyfoon, very recent links posted on progress.
And also BBN write ups most recently detail the current movement on this front regarding especially elements that could influence BMN and BE
