With load shedding Hospitals and the like are excluded yes - but they have backup generators in any case.
Most businesses have made arrangements within the past years allowing them to run unaffected to some degree.
The CBD in Cape Town is excluded and so too many other critical business/industrial districts.
City of Cape Town municipality have systems in place to minimise the effect of load shedding - i assume so would other municipalities.
Mainly affected is suburban areas - counterintuitive as this is where lowest comparative consumption is found. But if Eskom applies load shedding to 100% of homes - they can get away with continued supply to 100% critical business/industrial districts.
@Alfa, "Of course we don't need to wait for selection for AIM50 to do that and could simply request it at any point."
Do you mean 'we' the company or should we start piling onto info @ bushveldminerals . com as shareholders?
I am willing..
I have read surface info on the two systems and even just from personal investment portfolio point of view I can see benefits to move to SETS immediately.
From South Africa there is, in my extensive research, not a single platform that allows trading on SETSqx. But virtually all South African based platforms for international share dealing is open to SETS system.
Thus it would not only mitigate manipulation but also open us to an array of investors before even listing on the JSE. Investors so hungry for offshore investment that they are buying up the West Coast of Portugal for lack of a better option.

This is nothing as sophisticated as wave theory. And nowhere near the reliability of fundamental analysis.
..but I could probably predict when serious upturn would occur here:
- I have som funds coming through within three weeks
- historically we have seen a nice rise a week before funds are available in my trading account- every single time

Alfa, been following these as long as you've been doing them.
Tying this in to the link posted yesterday to a video on Michael Lewis on the rigged nature of the stock market and other videos and articles available on high frequency trading, shorting etc. I am ever moved to believe, for me at least there is only one strategy among a decidedly rigged environment - invest on fundamentals with a long term approach.
There is virtually no way to beat the MM's and other large forces on short term fluctuations, but strong fundamentals will prevail.
a top up at 42p would have given you 23800 shares for £10K buy
a top up at 44.5p would give you 22471 shares for a £10k buy
...at 87p - conservative broker target, that is only about a £1000 difference in profit of the £10k purchase.
If you have the funds and you believe in the fundamentals, just buy the shares already and go read about the future of renewables for a warm feel inside while the short term short passes
Thanks Alfa - Very poor speed reading on my part.
I do think, even though Mikhail stipulated that Grid scale is the BEnergy focus, that there will be a market for Residential scale VRFB's in the future.
Especially in places like South Africa and rest of developing Africa. There are pockets within these countries with tremendous wealth and no appetite for energy volatility
