Bedex: the reason we still exist is that we have two major shareholders who don't want to lose their investment. These two guys have proved themselves naive and, in many respects, incompetent. But they are aware of how to "grease wheels" and so have focussed limited resources on applying pressure in the right places. They are both rich, and generally in life, money tends to go to money. Rich people can be the tightest folks, which is illogical when they can afford charity more than the rest of us. So, they are keeping us afloat, avoiding the law, delaying law suits using every cheap trick, as they still believe there's a chance of getting a pot of gold at the end.
We are also shareholders...

Devex/StarRage: I received the same wording re share certs on my reply, which was on 1st December....

Bryan: I was just asked to provide proof and sent them a share cert for the ones that were chucked out of my ISA and a broker screenshot for the majority of my holding (held in a nominee account).

Earsbern: whoever is replying from the new Frontera email address requires proof of holding to check to the register before he/she will send you the generic email. It's a bit of a farce but if it means we get some news ultimately then I guess it's better than nothing.

Kippermanbike: you're correct.
This has nothing to do with proving anyone holds shares. The registrar list will have that.
They just don't want to communicate with anyone who isn't a shareholder for some reason, so if you want to receive the same communication posted a few times on here then you have to prove you are who their register says you are and you receive it. It took a month (and a chasing email) before they sent me the same email everyone else got.
Anybody who hasn't done it yet (which will be the vast majority), I would say there's no point as you will hear any news from people already in contact like myself.

Timelard/Sharealot: for proof of my holding I emailed the share cert for those that were chucked out of my ISA on delist and a screenshot of the broker screen showing the main holding sat in the nominee account. This was accepted.

Bernadotte: to be fair to Frontera(!), they claim to have a register, but they will have no idea that an email from a random person is the person on the register, so it is actually reasurring the ask for proof of holding imo.

sorry tmhsdx6. Yes, inappropriate use of the word. We do not have any reserves but we do claim to have the rights to access a huge asset, which could ultimately become huge reserves. But I think you will have got the drift of what I was trying to say.

maxcady: you're right. My guess, and someone correct me if I am inaccurate as I don't follow any shares except this one, is that Block do not have access to the huge reserves that we do. Accordingly getting access to our reserves would be a serious game changer to Georgia and, ultimately, the supply of gas to Europe by Russia. Whereas Block are comparatively insignificant and so just used as a (meaningless) example of cooperation by the GG. So Georgia's Russian favouring oligarch who seems to exercise a huge influence over the GG ensures we aren't allowed to operate freely.

In a similar vein it seems, from the open criticism of the GG and the recent election by Zaza, that there is no sign that talks are currently taking place with the GG. So anyone expecting the miracle deal (or any deal) is going to have to wait a while. Just my interpretation. GLA

It was so long ago, and I had so much less money to invest then, so I can't remember. Unfortunately, I became richer in the interim, but my investment choices didn't change, so now am back in the situation with no disposable cash ... hoping to wake up in a parallel universe where Rainbow's predictions come true, Madp's calculations prove to be accurate and Mapp gets a shag.
