Zaza struck me as having a good knowledge of the asset and, unless someone who knows about O&G better tells me otherwise, came across as a person who could talk expertly to the technical guys. With him now definitely gone, albeit with a few matters left to sort in court, then the Company needs to move forward afresh.
In order to replace his technical knowledge to sell our business to investors it has now put in place the perfect person, in Dustin Aro. He clearly knows his stuff, and knows first hand what the opportunity is with our asset. We also have US senator support. There's a palpable change in the rhetoric coming from the GD. So, whilst these court papers make pretty sickening reading, they're really just a minor side show imo. The focus is the future, not the past, and the latest appointments coupled with the new agenda of the Georgians could well finally give us a positive outcome.

emblaze: well at least B-2-0 has finally confessed that he knows no more than any of the rest of us, so hopefully peeps will stop referring to him as the Messiah!
His current optimism seems to arise from the noises that have been coming out of Georgia since the election, which have certainly been encouraging. So let's hope that there's a positive outcome for shareholders in the reorganisation.

Mick: there are always doom-mongers predicting stock market crashes; it gives them air time. No-one knows what will happen to the stock market but history has proved that the one thing that is reliable is that the majority get it wrong.
I would say of more pertinence is the oil price, so having it at a 12 month high is a positive. There's been no mention of any relisting as part of the restructure but I am sure we all hope that it will happen at some point.

It is ridiculous you have to do it this way; that we can't have an open discussion about an issue potentially related to our investments without it being censored and, worse still, action being threatened against hard working posters like Madp.

Dustin has updated his LinkedIn profile picture since the news broke on here, but he didn't take the opportunity to add anything regarding his appointment at Frontera, so I guess we can assume that they don't want to shout it from the rooftops yet, as one would imagine he would be keen to add the Directorship to his profile.

EkXoc: FSHG do not have a line of comms open. The Company communicated with Looed in response to something he asked them and he then kindly shared it with FSHG. As far as I am aware the Company have not responded to any communications from FSHG for some time, if ever. Very happy to be corrected if I am wrong.

The reason for asking is that I am intrigued at what has led to this communication from the Company. After all, as tsbs has already said, to a large degree we seem to have Zaza to thank for not losing our asset. It was his media onslaught and complete "re-interpretation" of the arbitration result which, coupled with the US senator support, that led to the GG not enforcing their reclaim of the asset. At that point Zaza and Frontera US seemed to be working in complete tandem, so what has caused this massive fallout?
Could we possibly be about to see a battle for the ownership of the Company ... stranger things have happened ...? One things for sure: you could definitely not make this up!!!

Rainbow: unless more of the authorised but not issued shares have been allocated, then Zaza owns 6.6% of the company, assuming he still holds the same number of shares as when we delisted.

All the evidence suggests these "characters" know as little as each of us do, indeed less than many who have ferreted out facts. They just come on here and try to raise false hope with fantasy stories and false claims of knowledge. At least with them not posting the board doesn't get clogged up with their nonsense.

Zaza's "removal" is interesting, and unexplained currently. It's possible it is to ease a deal; after all, he was openly critical of the government, now re-elected. That would make sense and be a positive. I remember thinking how his immediate reaction to the election was a real negative and seemed short sighted.
More recently I am also thinking that, now that they may need our support to approve a restructure, they can now blame the lack of communication on Zaza, to facilitate the extension of an olive branch.
