draft ........... u fool !! Your're obviously a man of weak convictions and like Trump blame others for your inadequacies ...
Of course there is very little chance of the shares falling to 10p ...... 15p seems reasonable entry point (if you must rush it)
... around 10p ??
The share price has no/little intrinsic strength at around current levels.
Totally predictable weakness (-10% in past 24 hrs) after fading from the 'results hype' recently.
Associated with the older section of society .... 2nd Corvid wave highly probable (listen to the scientists). Market sentiment matters...
Interesting 'recovery stock' ~ but not just yet, bide your time.... lessen risk. What does it matter if the Stock costs 13p or 18p if real recovery comes along in 18/24 months, sentiment has changed & the shares are 50p +++
GLA
.... the years high. With some justification........
dividendchaser ... Like Mr Johnson & Mr Corbyn we're on the same page (@ the mo!!). I suggest that the current yield of £13%+ merely reflects current market sentiment of what is an historically high yielding stock. In a week or so AV. will go Xd. (it will be interesting to see how much of a 'mark-down' there is ....
What actually matters is how the company performs out into 2021/22. The current yield basis should be of no interest to the BoE when announcing future dividend levels.... only current/ future profitability. As I keep saying (from experience) AV. ~ to use your term ~ is 'a dog' as a long term investment ............ BUT it sure is great as a 'trading stock'. Yes, the business model will be hit but the concept will endure ............ Go on then ~ i'll have a few more for a Christmas PUNT !!!
What the hell ............ in the long run ~ we're ALL dead , right... GLA !
.... looking at the longer price trend of AV. I think the term 'dog' fits the bill adequately. The shares basically go nowhere. As I have mentioned in the past I treat the shares as a 'trading stock' (usually around the dividend period) and this seems satisfactory thus far ....... past five years or so. Added risk of course ~ & after last week a decent profit has turned Red.!
I suspect it's far to early to add to my holding ......... patience should pay dividends .... certainly no hurry
.... early to be trying to be clever & buy this poorly covered 'income' stock ........ Dog that it is.
We are in the early days of a pandemic for which non of us has natural antibodies and there is, thus far, no equivalent of the 'flu jab'.
Besides health ............. in all probability the worldwide economic repercussions will be Very negative
Fools rush in (after one bad week)!!!
.... good news pending ??
'dividendchaser' (Tues 14.48) .......... as I have said over the past year or so, this is not a growth stock & plays 2nd. fiddle to L&G in the performance stakes. Realism seems to have gained a foothold on this board since I last visited ( apart from our friend 'nuri123a' of course!!)......
AV. is a trading stock at best...
Hedgehog100 ~ write 3 paragraphs of waffle accompanied by a blizzard of numbers of information relating to history under the heading "Focus on the future" when all newcomers to this board need to know is, thus far, BoD's have (since floatation 3+ yrs ago) failed in moving this 'cash shell' forward one iota.
..... but there's a rainbow ~ you've obviously taken my comment of humour to heart. The final sentence/2nd. para should warm the hearts of current shareholders knowing that 'our boys' done good in comparison with other 3+ yr. failures.
Pure Monty Python .....
... For heavens sake lighten up Hedgehog100. My 'little rant' was partly with tongue in cheek but as you appear to be a mirthless ( not to say somewhat pious) individual that seems to have passed you by.
I'm old & ugly enough to take full responsibility for all my investments & that certainly includes a tiny cash 'shell' such as Mila.
May I respectfully suggest that you take heed of GC's multiple observations as he is an investor who is fastidious in his research.... whilst, dare I say it, not lacking in humour (see previous post(s).
...Hedgehog100 ~ do you really believe a word these clowns say.?
The current 3 goons (not forgetting those sadly departed ) are A) totally inept B) totally inept crooks ..... take your pick.
'gorillacramp & myself have been in this "extremely exciting opportunity" since we were in short trousers and I am sure blame nobody but ourselves. It was a punt so c'est la vie. I, of course, will follow our esteemed politicians and be excruciatingly hypocritical with my praises should an attractive RT ever come to pass.!!
PS: I wonder if that nice Mr Corbyn will accept my share certificates in leu of inheritance tax .... #JustaThought
.... well let's hope Alex Walker doesn't have to show the patience of Job to see a positive return on his near 7% stake...
Only a few scrappy 'buys' following in his wake....
