....have passed since you EXCITEDLY forecast an imminent RTO C786.!! Lets hope something happens in September. As I pointed out it would appear that the only people to benefit from the nonsense of around the 18th. were the MM's....as usual. If you look at the trades it seems as if very few pi's bothered themselves, in fact one needs to go back to late May to find any days on which there was meaningful volume. Still, the shares are correctly valued (imo) at their cash value and anything higher is just "hope" money. Meanwhile we just sit and wait.... If and when an announcement comes it should come out of thin air. GLA

....RHL appears to be forming a platform for a period of recovery after the wilderness years. Having sold at a few coppers higher, through sheer apathy, some time ago it now feels like it may be time to get reacquainted. Booth and Jordan are both well respected businesses in their respective areas of expertise and although we won't repeat the halcyon days of a decade or so ago the current pointers look favourable. So fingers X'd. I remember the days when this stock paid a very handsome dividend ....who knows, they may re-board that particular train as early as next December.!

....i'll have a proper look at it this weekend. I think the BOD have indicated that they would be happy to hand over the reigns once a RTO is complete. Is that correct.? If so, then it is more of a sexy short term "punt" than Mila ...who appear to want to build a major company. A friendly fiver (£5k), as one of my young dealers used to say !! may be in order. ...you do seem to have a fertile imagination as well as appearing very EXCITABLE. No, I am not the GUY (as you put it) and no I do not know his identity. I do not, as yet, hold any SOP but have a holding in Mila. As both co's are by and large the same "punt" > no particular hurry. Why you would think that someone buying a declarable stake would necessarily equate to a rns in the next two weeks seems like wishful thinking....but for your sake (and other holders) I hope you're right.! The most likely people to have benefitted from the past 48hrs of hot air are the mm's. If you've been in this game for more than five minutes you should have learned that the last thing you want is for the price to "get away" whilst you still wish to add to your holding. So, as I say, calm down...oh, and by the way, there is NO NEED for capitals....we understand and are not in kindergarten. Good luck

... 5 years, your timing seems as good as mine moniman.! Today Barclays have come out as positive and Cazenove have recently upgraded. However the market doesn't seem to want to know. What are the main "Bull" points for this stock chaps/chapesses and will they pay a final div? On the surface this looks like a good recovery play....But.. Any ideas?

Casper, old boy.! What you say is right but why on earth do you want it on the radar? Just quietly add to your holding....and don't get taken in by the MM's widening the spread. When it quietens down next week you'll get 'em cheaper. The same guy has bought into Mila....so he's probably just a player. Enjoy the cricket .....you will be able to afford to go to the Ashes come the winter I Hope!!

....Casper675, you are coming across as being DEMENTED.... So some guy has taken a punt on 3%+ .....he's done the same in MILA (only larger) It's a cash shell until they make an acquisition .....get real pal.......

....that there may well be something afoot now that Mr Shah has risen from his slumbers. The old ploy of the company's brokers putting the word out that they are in a position to hoover up stock from disillusioned original investors, in size, and a friend of the company ( Mr Shah ) gets out his chequebook. The BOD's way of saying thank you for tying up cash (nil interest) for the best part of twelve months. I've met the Mr Shah's of the investment world and they tend not to be gamblers. OR > I could be 100% wrong.!!! If the above isn't just complete fantasy ,I'm a tad surprised that there is absolutely no flicker of outside interest. ITC.... has George made mention of Mr Shah in any previous dialog ? (confidentiality rules apply, of course). Cheers.....

... that hardly anyone was interested in an original shareholder adding to their holding and indeed approx. 1.2m shares were sold within 3/4 days of that announcement. I would have thought that such sale volume would have resulted in a larger fall in the share price....not just effectively a widening of the "turn". That 250/- @ 4p @ 8.15 am. may indicate that someone is (again) picking up stock behind the scenes. I do hope so.!! Any thoughts.........

This is a relatively quiet board frequented by punters who hope one day to be able to say that they were Investors in Mila right at the start of it's climb to prominence in the world of commodities. I have been here for the best part of a year and my paint is well and truly dry. But as it is obviously a punt on management making the right calls on investment strategy I shall continue to exercise patience. Two things I was taught when I started in this business....1) never project time scales and 2) never project price movements. To say this will be a 4/5/10 bagger is just white noise as nobody knows....period. Enjoy the ride, if and when it comes...meanwhile lets stay civil ......... please.

I can understand Hugo36's view regarding the above. We all want to see a higher share price based on trading success and future prospects. Taking a counter argument, a great number of institutions/unit trusts et al are restricted from investing in a non dividend paying stock. So even a minimum payment would have the benefit of the shares having appeal to a much larger pool of investors. If the BOD are interested in acquiring a higher profile this is perhaps one way worth considering (given a legitimate financial background) Just a thought..... PS. we seem to have just witnessed a dead cat bounce...

....thanks g/cramp. If all goes well it sounds as if the directors may well have achieved their objectives by the end of the year. Morrison says he is quite happy to walk away after a RTO if the resultant management is capable of moving the new group forward. Therefore this looks like a straight punt on Morrison and his mates turning over a RTO of value within the next six months or so.!! I may have a go....

Investments (punts) of a tad over £5000 move the share price by + 0.25p. It's all irrelevant until we get a RNS. Go enjoy the cricket and fantasise as to what % of future profits would be appropriate to spend on a trip to the colonies to witness the Ashes under antipodean sunshine.

.....as quietly suggested by MasterOats whilst "Mrs Director" is no doubt happy with the approx. 20% gain on the December purchase of 50000 shares! ....also it would appear that our new "famous fund manager" has got off to a satisfactory start.

Seems to me as Mila2 However they seem at ease to put a time scale on their endeavours to find a suitable RTO. Not altogether too sure that is a wise move in such a volatile and complex marketplace. Reading between the lines a couple of months ago it appears that the BoD of Mila are quietly sifting through suitable quarry.....getting it right is the only thing that matters. Will keep an eye on SOP but am in no rush to do more than that at the moment.
