.... first visit for me since 16th Jan ~ appear not to have missed much.!! With this investment it would seem that SI Capital's "High Net Worth" clients can now be re- categorised as ever so slightly Less High Worth....
Thinking of doing you all a favour by selling a few and hence getting the price ticking up.! Would appreciate an update over recent past movements prior to any action
Cheers
> an exciting stock.!
> heck does it take to get even a smidgen of interest in this stock.? These Notification RNS are, to me, sometimes a tad tricky to understand. Is it the situation that Mr.Pearce has purchased a further 250/- making his total holding 950/-? I see there were some reasonably sized sales yesterday which presumably he moped up.....otherwise I would have expected the price to ease..
> it will be interesting to see if John Ashbridge has/will shortly buy shares in the company. That would appear to be the most obvious way for him to benefit financially from this appointment. This announcement, yet again, underlines the folly by the BoD of indicating a short term time scale for their proposed RT. Verging on market manipulation.!? > btw, I wonder if it's SI Capital ( pompously categorised ) "High Net Worth" clients who are behind the recent firming of the share price......
> I have a friend who's wife is called Mirella ..... but she's Italian, so that can't possibly count. !!
> 687, firstly the reason why the last trade shows as a sale is because the trading price is below mid quote ...4.625p. At least I believe that to be the case. I'm not au fait with SimplyWall St. but may follow it for a while. I don't think it tells us anything we don't already know about MILA. To me it's just a cash shell and I am following a BoD who seem to have the necessary expertise in their chosen fields....end of ! I've just checked my notes and it appears that the stock was approx. 1.5p higher in the first 10 days of January'17 ....and I kid myself that I have a vague idea of what I'm doing.!!! We can only hope that the BoD have been exploring the marketplace thoroughly and come up with a gem in 2018 (early '18) if it's not too much trouble...thanks in anticipation! PS > I've given up on the 5th. Test.... GLA...
> well gc after reading the SOP announcement I would (half heartedly) suggest "the other shell")! I know I had a bit of a moan but in fact I remain sanguine about SOP .... it is a 'punt' after all and the SI Capital people presumably think they'll make a turn. Hopefully we'll see their clients buying up stock (or being found some!) during the coming weeks/months....
> gc this funding amounts to pocket money. The RNS talking of a deal by the Autumn has turned out be nonsense from a BoD who should know better. The wording of this RNS suggests that they are not particularly close to anything specific .... or why would they need to get involved with another broker who will (apparently !) "assist with the sourcing & evaluation of suitable RTO opportunities". Obviously SP Angel haven't managed it so far... Not surprising therefore that the market, thus far, has all but ignored this announcement. I await with interest to see sizeable share purchases as SI Capital stuff their 'high worth'!!! clients into this stock. Morrison didn't have any option but to issue stock @ 5p given that the initial tranche was at that price in MAY. Current Pi and Institutional investors would have been in uproar... We'll be lucky to see any action before mid-summers day at this rate... perhaps he meant Autumn 2018.!
> and the answer is....?% You've lost me my dear old thing.... but I guess that was the plan.!! You're supposed to be relaxing and having an early G&T on your hols. I've almost given up on a Mila paid trip to the 5th Test but... just maybe... we will get that RNS we are all looking for @ 7am each morning... Hope springs eternal >
> doubt you'll get in under 3.5p .... for some time ~ as the mm's crossed 300,000 @ 3.62p a few days ago and a trade today at that price (showing as a sale) is in fact likely to be a buy....
> there doesn't seem to be a compelling reason to buy. This time next week the spotlight will have moved on and I would suggest that the ODX share price will become becalmed at these lower levels.... Sad really, as I would like this company to be in the vanguard as they actually do something worthwhile...
> who sold that 103,777 thus making my end of week portfolio valuation look even worse.?! Gee, I'm bored .... nobody seems to want to answer sp7's question re. free float. bluesky, who seems to have p'd off early for his hols, helpfully informs us that " I can't say how much free float actually is available" but then goes on to suggest that "it must be VERY LITTLE". Is this idle speculation or has a degree of mathematical nous gone into this assessment.? Who knows, who cares.!!!! Just joshing.... More seriously > just a thought.... surely 12 months + after the initial floatation savvy investors would not be building up declarable stakes on a whim and a pray....
> tomorrow (yet again) every chance of there being little change in the share price in the foreseeable future... Your thoughts Dibs.?
> for your insight and thoughts... Given your long association with CARR is there a simple reason why there is such a wide diversity of interest within the group.? Radio-active cows in Cumbria seems a remote prospect.!! Seriously, I am endeavouring to investigate the company having been alerted by the recent share purchases of the Financial Director.... Your further comments and thoughts would be of interest.......Thank you
> we are thinking along the same lines re. 'sickness'.! I think I may well have been a tad gung-ho myself this morning having put a toe in. So I was disturbed to read that you were actually questioning whether the company would actually make a profit. Surely if they come in at around the figures they are now quoting, a 28% drop in the share price is overdoing things even for AIM.
> if that all it is...?! This BoD are not endearing themselves to Institutional or Private investors. They badly need to get their act together....
> what do you think now.? Sadly you seem to be talking to yourself on this bb. I have been a holder in the past (in the early days) but not for the past couple of years but was planning to buy in again recently .... and then put a halt to that on seeing the November announcement. Now I'm very tempted and as you obviously follow the company closely I would appreciate your thoughts....
> we now appear to know who the recent buyers are. I just hope s_p doesn't have to wait as long as I have to get a return on his investment.! Still dreaming of the 5th. Test whilst snowbound in sunny Warwickshire......
A hopeful £5000 punt I suspect sp7 ..... however it goes well with the serious purchases of yesterday. Buys of that size (all together) do suggest that 'words' have been exchanged close to the action. Do I recall correctly that a fund manager ( in the commodities area) took a stake earlier this year? Not that I'm suggesting...etc, etc !! Anyway, although things could hardly be worse in Australia, my post of the 24th.Nov remains > delusional....
