Bearing in mind the time it takes to go through the court system I don't think Tony will be too worried about that although small shareholders might be! For now I am confident the lights will stay on until the end year report in September. Hopefully we might be very close to first production by then.

My hunch is that Tony will then announce a share consolidation (10 for 1?) possibly sweetened by a free attaching warrant. Lots of luck to all other long-suffering holders here!

Clear from SP that very few have accepted the tender offer. Now we shall see whether or not the co does decide to give us a share dividend. Will be surprised if we get one!

My surfing took me here and will add to Watchlist. Much more substantial than NWT but in no rush with three weeks to election.

Large holding in my p/f held for many years but decided I am better off with the cash now because SP is high and the next 20 days before the election could be a very good time to pick up quality shares at decent discounts. The more panic the better. A bit sad though. Must not let sentiment get in the way.

It would appear to be 30th June. If so, we could hear zero from this gamble until at least September.

Our new boss after due consideration has done very little to change the strategy of his very fine predecessor. This is pretty much the endorsement I was expecting but clearly the market wanted blood-letting. Too bad - they were being silly.

Why are you wasting your time here for YEARS knocking Tlou? The only sensible answer is that someone is making it worth your while. A few of us (we know our names) have been holders since the start and i spite of your jaundiced comments are prepared to continue to wait knowing the risks very well without your constant pessimism. We know this is not for widows and orphans. Why don't you try another board?

Having just reread what Sheffield Resources have stated about CMET on their website I can understand why some are'nervous nellies'. they state that there can be no assurance that they will commit to CMET.

Obviously, when their huge Thunderbird mine is producing significant profits they may well commit, but they have other interests also and make it clear on their website that they reserve their position. It would be very useful if we could get all the necessary from SL as soon as possible because we would then be able to line up other finance if Sheffield were for any reason then not able to have inked things in with us.

.....maybe they have a 'cunning plan' of their own like talking to one or more big boys and lining up to be on the end of a [possibly contested) bid for the co. Anyway, the less shares there are, the higher the price per share if takeout materialises.

This would not be the first or last quoted co to find small private shareholders just an irritation. This one isn't going anywhere!

It seems to me it should follow that when we hear from Simbec-Orion, it should be decisive and be followed by the referral to FDA if it is satisfactory. Please correct me if my statement is wrong, So we wait and the SP takes nothing for granted.

Having slept I now can add to my previous response. I know you will find this astounding (!), but sometimes a client will, for various reasons, advise his lawyer to stall on what was previously regarded as an urgent deal. The slowdown in Sheffield's immediate profitable mining is likely to be such a reason (I am a retired solicitor). This actually makes me more confident that the deal is very likely to proceed but at a possibly frustrating pace.

Let's hope these put this outfit back where they should be, as a sizeable profit-maker. A dividend, even a small one, would be nice. We have waited too long!

And long life all in here. I cut my losses years ago. Hopefully soon you might get your award against India but you will then no doubt have to enforce it. At least it seems you have an honest guy at the top now.

MM - Can't disagree with you but they can only tell us what they know and even then Simbec may have required or suggested that they keep info to themselves for now.

PaulFD - on top of your detailed analysis of Sheffield's finances, since they have a track record, they should be able, if necessary, to take on a commercial loan if they need it to fund the further iinterest in CMET, although they probably would seek to avoid that. It could well be that is part or all of the reason for the slowdown at present.
