....be building a holding here soon on the gamble that the car-trade hit will either fail or be less damaging than expected. First tranche expected early March and more cash early April.

Most will be churned via Raisin safely, but the plan is to fund the25-26 shares ISA.

....and after what has happened at LGEN, there is talk of a bid or tie in here.

....for the two boy racers to salivate over! Celadon Pharma. Its on AIM and I'm sure they wouldn't mind us taking a slice of that co right now. At least it might be better than doing nothing!

Legalwolf- I think so too. But if this is the case, why not tell us? My suspicion is that, notwithstanding how honest we were told the new communist leader is, the controlling body may not be and Greg does not know quite what to tell us by RNS. So we get nothing for now.

At this SP, KRD is valued at less than £1.5M with vast majority of shares still owned by Estate of the Late Prof Conroy, leaving less than 30M of which some 15M likely to be in safe hands. NOW look again at the possible coloured diamonds to which they are working in Finland with no serious competition and THEN decide at just 1p and a bit, Good or bad gamble?

....I put these into my Fidelity ISA a few months back having looked at their form over the years and decided they were vanilla enough but gave the p/f some necessary eastern exposure. Why I am now chatting is that at this time UK interest rates are falling at home and that is well regarded. Japan has historically had virtually zero interest rates and for reasons I have researched, now need to move theirs upward quite a bit! Breaking even on this right now. We shall see what happens, but these Vanguard managers are a shrewd lot!

SP remains unmoved! This is a very small capitalised company and unless some of the big holders are out of them, the news today should have seen them up at least 10%.

OK, they will have to pass the hat round soon but that is obvious and should therefore not deter bearing in mind the cost right now and the potential upside,

You are right, Golfer. For those of us old looooong termers, we are not interested in fast turnover. The next two to three years (assuming I live that long!) should see a real revaluation of LGEN under our new clever Mr Simoes. At that time I would not be surprised if these were yielding more like 12 to 14% per annum and priced at nearer double today's level.
