Shell would have done plenty of digging at Wood before they awarded them this right now. That and the heave-ho to our underwhelming and under-qualified CFO SHOULD set the co's shares on a steep uphill climb

No-one believed me here when I told them I sold 50% of my large holding on the day they peaked, at 7p each just at the closing bell - I couldn't believe it myself, but it occurred, so once in a very long time miracles do happen! My next 150,000 only go at 15p and the rest I expect my Executor will have to decide on!! Of course, I now have a free ride. After 60 years of playing the market, its nice to have such luck. ATB.

....this share is one of a few that are being aggressively traded now because various items of news are expected imminently. If and when such news items break, and dependent on the outcomes, there is scope for a fair bit of gain/loss. As a LTH, I am in a good position but know that, if I take part, I must be very shrewd. There is a case for just remaining a LTH!!

...because this is less than the Rights price and FIPP is completely dependent on its private co investments getting IPO'd or a trade buyer, as always, When this occurs, these will revalue.

.....I decided to slim down my holding today taking another loss because I am doing well elsewhere in the p/f. Still retain too many if the pessimists here are proved correct.

Thought this was the reason, so not surprised. Cannot blame Greg too much. Luckily i haven't bet the house on this and hope it goes better than last time, when I lost a packet.

This is the largest and happiest investment in my p/f. Unlikely ever to cause me any worry and expect it to chug along at its own pace broadly higher over the years. Surely more of you stick a big chunk of ALW in your p/f.
