I wholly agree with your post-brexit sentiment that is something I think about very carefully now before I invest in different companies. Although I'm lately of the mind that brexit may be something that gets set aside. I don't think the muppets in parliament, all parties could deliver the morning papers let alone negotiate and deliver the correct, proper and fair to all sides brexit deal. My opinion only obviously. Thank you for the reply. I came across fpo for the first time two weeks ago while thumbing through back copies of IC. I can't see the price dropping much lower before results so will get in this morning. You never know sub 50p might be the bottom. D.

Negotiations to buy successful companies are presumably more complex than buying duds, especially as you say, they know we've got the dough' I'm surprised the share price hasn't been mucked about with more than it has, but then it wasn't underwritten so no faceless broker waiting in the wings to constantly drip feed the market. Interim results due 23rd .Nov. Not in here yet but will be before 23rd. Spent the last few days going through recent balance sheets and I'm certainly not seeing anything detrimental to a reasonable investment, Dug out the article in June's IC. alluded to in an earlier post, their small caps guy Simon Thompson was very bullish about FPO then at 53p. Fundamentals appear to have improved dramatically since June yet share price has backtracked. See a few posters on here am i missing something Guys/girls. D.

there is normally a trading update in December. I'm wondering if they will announce their first acquisition at the same time. It's been going on so long now, what's another month !!!!!! D.

Share price got murdered on half yearly report on Sept 26th. Never seen anything wrong with it myself. We were done no favours post ex divi. There was no massive sell off ex divi to justify it. So perhaps your right to be worried drunk. We'll just have to wait and see. D.

Think I'm in between the ouch and not ouch camp. In with an average of 302p ish bought in last two weeks. So in answer to your ? peakview I'm in for the divi. I was actually hoping for a steady rise up to ex divi date which I would have exploited then bought back in cheap but alas I held to long and joined the ouch-ish clan. Whatever, interesting trading day today. Like most on here I am positive about my investment even if the ex divi/divi/post divi shenanigans went against me. Well done everyone who bought in cheap today, looks like you've got it right !!!! D.

You called it drunk. At least the guys waiting for an in got it. My average around 302p so no monster paper loss in holding for the divi. I still don't see how the sells in mid 280's can be making much profit. D.

Okay drunk I've a more optimistic view to yours. I just don't see where all the sells would come from to drive us into the 280's tomorrow. Low 296p finish 301p. I've read somewhere that it can take up to three days from day of purchase to registration. Anyone know for sure what the normal timeline is. D.

Impossible to know for certain where we will be post ex divi date. With one day to D day there doesn't appear to have been any mad rush to claim the divi. Although it's usual for a share price to retrace the day after ex divi date, it's also usual for a share price to rise into the ex divi date. That hasn't happened so far. I've had a few this year that never sunk after divi, that obviously doesn't mean anything here, but it can happen. Cross everything. D.
