Could be the Als takeover in Feb this year could cost an extra £1.5 mill. If it performs as expected in first 20 months. My disappointment in today's news was my expectations that the larger acquisition would come first. On re-reading the acquisition circular it would appear I was wrong. Looks like the long wait goes on chaps because this aint' going to set the Heather on fire. What it does do is satisfy the promise of a first acquisition this year. Unfortunately the rest of the statement is for the completion of the acquisition process by the end of 2018. So I surmise we'll be stuck here in the 5p's a while yet. I'm sure I read somewhere that there is more money due on the Shaw and Als takeovers, has any one else came across this. D.

Hi Dar I read the Nov. Contract award as a research and development fee from an overseas government and today's as an order of product also from an overseas government. They may or May not be related but it is positive news. I really can't understand anyone selling at these prices. Perhaps some are now nervous about the success of the acquisition process, that's fair enough each to their own. I've said before " take as long as you want just get it right " There's a healthy discussion group on ADFN much busier than here. D.

There's not really any evidence of big boys selling Mulder. Octopus sold some post placement but no one else reducing as far as I can see. No need to ask what we all want for Christmas, perhaps maybe TPG's acquisition journey starting before Santa starts his journey from lapland, if not we'll who knows. I mean we were supposed to have identified 20 possible targets and actively talking to 10. D.

I hold much the same views as most on here. I also can't see any positive movement without the expected acquisition rns we are all waiting on. Strangely enough this is now the biggest lose in my portfolio, that I never expected. I am encouraged that we have had next to no ii selling during the waiting game it would have been a worry if the big boys had started bailing. The important thing about the placement was it was not underwritten so if and when! We do get a rise on positive news we don't have a broker feeding sells into miniscule rises. D.

I was just looking at the figures. We currently have a market cap of �46.5 million Approx. �28 million of that value in cash. If the BOD are not careful someone will end up buying us and stealing our cash !!!!!!! Is that so crazy. D.

For a relatively small investment company we don't appear to have any problem attracting new money for new property funds. There is a lot to like about FPO we have a lot of irons in a lot of fires and all add to the revenue stream. I'm trying to build an across sector long term post brexit portfolio of small caps, hopefully minimally affected by the brexit aftermath, this for what it's worth is my commercial property fund pick. Yes Swiss1 I history repeating itself a wee bit today. Some good posts on here today if doing nothing for the share price the interims at least roused some interest on the board with trade numbers and volumes up as well. It would be good if the trades and volumes could maintain today's level, for a wee while at least. I'm also in no rush to sell. D.

Yes there was growth across all the fudamentals with more promised, but I was a tiny bit disappointed, I expected more. Nature of the Pi' beast me thinks' Initial market reaction seems positive but a day in the Pi' trenches can be a long day as you know. I was happy they had spent some cash my feeling is that a property investment company that hoards cash is not a confident investment company. D.

I was doing a wee bit of homework here today to pass the time and I note that the share price tends to retrace post results announcements and then grow albeit haphazardly during the proceeding month or two. I also not we are approximately 20% down on yearly highs which would appear a bit unmerited on what appears to be continual growth during the course of the year. If we have good figures tomorrow and there is an unjustified retrace I have funds available to take advantage. In the unlikely event of an aim company rising on a good set of results we'll just have to count our money sir. Whatever, if results are good I expect the yearly high to be bettered bye Christmas !!!!!! D.

With 30% of the business tucked away I can't see MDC playing nice in the unlikely event of anyone else staging a takeover, and with them being barred from coming back for six months I can see only a quite time ahead on the takeover front. In the meantime I can see this being turned into a day traders dream with fairly large daily swings post failed offer. In fact there evident already, and we're only two days on from D-day. The fun goes on !!!! Ps. Was I in any way accurate with my assumptions in my previous post. D.

My reading of last month was the retrace of mediclinic's share price from 645.5p on the 17th Oct. the deciding price for the non cash part of the possible offer, to �5.10p on the final day for a firm offer made the deal to rich for them. 17th. Oct. �1.50p + 0.232 of �6.45p = � 2.98p. Leaving 17p to find to reach �3.15p final offer on 20th. Nov. 20th. Nov. �1.50p + 0.232 of �5.10p = �2.68p. Leaving 47p to find to reach �3.15p final offer on 20th. Nov. I know it makes no difference now. Just my reading of the situation. Whatever back in this morning, don't think this is anywhere near the end of the story. D.

Well that was a roller coaster month that was. In the end some professional bodies thought the company was worth 315p per share. Some thought it was worth more than 315p per share. Yet here we are two days later at around 230p a share. Seems a bit of a no brainer to me so I'm back in today. D. ,

This one appears always to have operated well under the radar of most investors ii and pi. Let's hope if we do have the good results that the few on here are anticipating we could feature on the lse daily risers chart. At least that would get us noticed by a few more investors. Not holding my breath mind you. D.
