That "bought in to early " I suspect is a big club to be a member of in here. I don't think there is a need to panic here, Its probable we are just caught up in the general lack of confidence in the entire retail sector. 255p was a great price here for getting in, hats of to any who had the patience to wait for it. I certainly hope it doesn't happen but I have arranged funds to buy again if we dip into the 250's again. I look forward to next week, let's see what happens. D.

Whatever guys it was a positive end to the week, ex divi or not. I'm not that bothered what range we trade in on Monday. What I would like is next weeks trading to be predominantly in the 270's with a move to the 280's come end of trading on Friday. I know I'm maybe being majorly optimistic but heh let's see what happens. D.

I think you're probably the longest holder on here. The company only came to my attention in late may this year when it was given a buy rating by IC magazine. I don't do extensive research but what I did find out about TPG I liked so I'm in. I don't see anything happening that quickly so I'll continue to top up as funds become available. D.

Have been put off a top up by the crazy spread, however when I tried again this morning I was quoted 7 dead. Happy to take that. Just a few, will continue to build my holding when funds become available. D.

Patience is what's required. I'm looking for an exit strategy, buying again might not seem sensible but it is a possibility if it drops further. Holding for a long term recovery is probably a more reasonable strategy it's just not for me. I'm not sure about the laughing bit mind you. Good luck whatever you decide. D.

Thank you I will probably average down if it hits the mid 250's again. As I've said before I'm not keen on holding anything long term, it hasn't always been my policy, I just don't want to be to heavily invested in stock should there be a market retrace. In and out of about six stocks at the moment just to keep the interest going. D.

Hi Mulder I was wondering where you'd gone haven't seen you post on many boards of late. Out again, my 170p sell was triggered today. I invariably sell to early so it will probably keep rising for others looking for a bigger sell price. Mulder have you any knowledge of DOM, I made a serious misjudgement there. I'm in with a 293p average when the share price is stuck in the 250p to 270 price range. I didn't think the latest figures were to bad however market confidence says otherwise, indeed this week's investors chronicle albut said get out of DOM fast. That being said I'm in two minds whether to average down if it drops to the low 250's again, I've given up hope of a profit I'm just trying to limit the damage and get out as soon as I can. D.

I don't normally invest for the long term but this one is definitely an optimistic long term hold for me. I feel I've gotten into this small company just as it's on the turn. D.

WW I to hold DOM at a paper loss my current average is 293p, if we drop back to mid 255's again, which I expect I will buy to lower my average. I don't think going ex divi is going to make that much of a difference, the daily fluctuation of the share price over the last few months has in the main been greater than the divi of 3.75p There appears to be very little market confidence in DOM at the moment " investors chronicle have this week advised DOM as a sell " No one knows when or if the share price will get back to previous levels. There would be no point in selling before Friday might as well have the divi. For me I just want to get out with as little damage as possible l don't do LTH so getting in here to early was just a misjudgement on my part. Hi Megabux I think the fund raising went as well as it could. I read somewhere in the fund raising publication that they had already identified 20+ companies that could fit the TPG business portfolio, some of whom they were already talking to. Lets hope they get the due diligence right. D.

So far so good. I think. Be interesting to see if we have any new ii holding announcements in the next week or so. Acquisition's R us now, let's hope the BOD get it right. FT had us at 70% + ii owned before the fundraising. What will it be now !!!!! D.

I know the share price was 7p plus at the fund raising announcement. I would imagine they would have greater access to company information than we ever would. So I'm treating their confidence as a a big plus. Any mine are going in the bottom drawer for a year. We'll see what happens to the company's new money before long I hope. D.

Hi RH I think the rise was overdue !!!!!! Welcome to the Pets board. D.

For what it's worth TPG came to my attention on June 2nd when IC magazine did a full page analysis on the company. Their opinion was then that the company was going in the right direction and a speculative buy. Things have moved on since then with the announcement of the placement of new shares. The things I find encouraging about the placement is that it is set at very little discount now to the current price, it is not underwritten so hopefully no big overhang of cheap shares flooding the market for months after completion and it is primarily to be used to grow the company not pay debt. Will be really interested to see how many of the new shares are taken up by II's. That will be the next test. Whatever it is a bit of a punt. For me I'm fed up with investing in value FTSE 250 companies which in actual fact in my portfolio anyway are turning out to be anything but. My fault obviously. Avmimho. D.
