If you are not deramper, I don't understand why you are still wasting large amounts of your time just to tell us how inefficient our company is at trying to sell its product. From what you have told us of your position I think you would have much more important things to do. So I conclude you deramp.

If and when this deal is announced, remember that even if recommended, it is NOT a done deal. It is quite possible that another oil major will want to up the ante and offer a bit more to upset the cosiness. I for one will not be rushing in and taking the first thing on the table. I know this is hyypothetical but it is worth considering. 25% more could be up for grabs if other majors get excited.

SAE is in hock to its eyeballs (like many others) so I hope they DON'T do some deal to spread the marge even thinner and rescue the french tidal effort! Lets see breakeven on their existing endeavours first! I have just been through their accounts and wish I had done so before I dabbled.

There is another possibility. Big Jim may simply take the view that his co has built up a bunch of these licences which are prize assets. To the extent that this co is not making cash out of them, he may simply be sitting on them and waiting for the bids to come for them. It may not be what we tiddlers want but he can afford to take no notice of us. We will find out presumably in the next Annual Report. With the SP falling and no interest now, we have to take a view as to whether to average down and if so, when. Not why we invested here but happens a lot on AIM. Rare to make a quick killing.

MMs reckon the election will stall the process again I fear. This has become a 'grind your teethy and hang on' share.

I creamed a few off some weeks back at 5.91. After this news my gut told me to buy them back at 5.6 or thereabouts. It is only small beer but I am thinking Can I afford to be short of BPC right now? We could all be taken for a ride when the deal is announced (as I am pretty sure it will be) but rather have just that little bit more skin in the game right now. All this talk about 70p a share is bunkum, I feel, but I will be surprised if it works out less than 8p. And I don't think they dare leave it too long now we all have wind of it!

Just looked again at RNS via their website and I missed fact of new contract with an Infrastructure co. This could be interesting because there are many such organisations and they are all looking for economies so they can keep the divis rising. (I am a long term holder of HICL, 3IN, INPP) If this new contract works out, more can follow.

Looked back at RNS and it is clear the co (i.e Big Jim) wants a deal to utilise the licences. So far that has not happened and IMO, it needs to if the co is to add value. Will shortly be preping the Annual Report for 17/18. Let's hope the deal is far advanced and announced so it can be included even though outside the co's year end.

Predicted this months ago. So we all have less shares with (atleast for now) ten times the value. I assume we won't be included in the Placing but it is some comfort to note the big holders are all happy to support the co. Looks like a bit of a bottom drawer jobby!

Thought it would be useful to refresh memory with a look at last final and this year's interim. The co is viable without action on the betting licences but makes next to nothing. All the prospects are in the licences upon which we have heard nothing. Also stated that the co was seeking acquisitions but nothing so far. So it is right now a sleeper and we need to hear something exciting soon. Useful exercise though.

Reluctantly holding on and hoping for better. The Trump/Kim dialogue is still going on and therefore there could still be spin-off. In the meantime the divi is worth having.
