Volume not great but sp looks steady. Provided nervous retail investors don’t get bored and bail out it looks like we are staying around the 115- 120 mark until news.

5 x 1 millions buys (£16.5-£16.7 each) in the closing 10 minutes. Someone is confident and willing to pay north of 1.66 for them! Next week could be very interesting.

Rather unusually I agree with both Ironic and Chaebol!
The mm's need to create liquidity so are constantly hunting for highs and lows at which retail investors will sell and buy.
One of the main issues with retail investors is they tend to get bored very quickly. As a result, between news you often see dips in the SP where the rainbow chasers move on. Its a risky strategy as its easy to miss a mega RNS and subsequent rise.
I just wish Bobby and the BoD would buy some more shares to at least show confidence in their plans going forward. At that point we may see a sustained rise.

Given the sudden swing in buying pressure there surely has to be a reasonably sized buyer taking up shares. Unfortunately given that TR1 notifications can take a couple of days we wont find out until early next week at which point it will become impossible to get in at sub 1.6p.

Its only taken 30,000 barrels and SS going on the news and we finally get some decent movement. Current SP is miles off where it should be back to Sept 2017 prices (when I should have sold a chunk :) )

Its frustrating to see the MM's playing with the SP at this level and walking it down to pick up cheap shares.
Come on Bobby, get another good RNS lined up!

Only time will tell. Having worked with a number of regulatory organisations the majority of time a fine is not necessary unless the level of negligence by the BoD is outrageous. It’s most likely that the FCA will want the BoD to set out a solid action plan to avoid the same errors occurring again (better reviews/auditing). The ex head of finance will most likely take the biggest ear-bashing given the affair highlights their inability to accurately forecast and calculate commercial risk (I am hopeful that Mr Kalars level of negligence only reaches as far as an inability to hire the right person to lead the finance department)

Can we give the whole "the world is coming to an end" stuff a rest now.
We get the economy is not great, Brexit is a car crash and AIM has been known to house some real shockers in recent years but:
- YU. are in a strong position having continued to grow and pull in more clients that will generate solid profit in the next 12 months.
- They have over £10mil in cash (over half the current Mcap)
- The drop late last year was clearly over done (Still over 90% down vs April 2018)
- The majority of II's have stuck with the company despite the drop so clearly see a recovery happening in the future
- The number of shares available to retail investors is microscopic compared to 99% of the companies on AIM. As a result he SP could easily double/triple/quadruple in days on any sniff of good news.
- The company is being supported by the gold standard of accountants and auditors (As a result are better prepared for the future than ever before)
- Yes the FCA is involved but that is because it is simply their job to investigate failings in company accounting and help them find practical ways to improve process in the future (IE: the business will be better for it).

I have no doubt missed a few interesting points but in my very humble opinion YU is one of the best AIM investments available to retail investors. (I know its a bit rampy but it is my opinion)

Speeding tickets usually include something along the lines of: we are not aware of any reason for the share price movement.
No chance of that from Bobby and Co as they know full well the share price should be much higher.

Conspiracy theories and aggressive de-ramping aside what is the true/current value of YU in pounds and pence.

Organizationally I believe YU are in a better position now than 12 months ago when the SP was in excess of £10.00. I am however realistic about my expectations given the drop in 2018 will have scared away investors old and new.

I could be very wrong buy surely the SP is worth £5 given the lack of bad debt and the growing number of contracts for gas, elec and water (all of their social media coverage is incredibly positive and very growth/success focused).

A director buy RNS would certainly help move things along but I am unsure of whether the BoD would be permitted given the FCA involvement (If they can buy, I dont see why they wouldn't given the opportunity to massively average down).

Do these idiots really think BB readers are that stupid they wouldn't notice the constant changes in opinion based on the posters current position (long/short/looking for a cheap entry).

The constant aggressive de-ramping looks to have failed. What a shame :)

Could the next RNS be confirmation that the BoD have acquired more shares?
Given the last RNS see's them out of the lock in period I wonder if it presents Bobby and Co with an opportunity to own a larger majority at a substantial discount to last years placing.

Over 50% of the Mcap is covered by cash in the bank.
Given water business and growing customer base for gas/elec this has a long way to go. The traders will no doubt have their piece of pie along the way but it’s a reasonable hold for me (IMO of course)

If it makes you feel better I am at a bit of a loss. Check my posting history- I didn’t arrive yesterday like many of the rampers and derampers drowning the BB.

This BB makes for hilarious reading:
- miracle traders who all banked big profit yesterday.
- traders who are holding for a laugh on free shares.
- traders who would not touch it with a barge pole today but were ramping like hell yesterday.
Fingers crossed these comedians soon move on and leave us long term holders to see a reasonable recovery.

That will do nicely. BoD clearly focussed on sustainable growth and learning from past mistakes. Plenty of revenue and debt free!

Not quite the bumper Friday many would have liked. We are however now very close to next weeks (End of Jan) report.
Given the recent publicity regarding water supply I would imagine it will feature in the RNS and no doubt help the companies balance sheet along with their recent drive to win new clients (=More profitable contracts/revenue).

It wouldn’t surprise me if the MMs were hoovering up cheap shares in the knowledge that one sniff of positive news and they can offload at 2x/3x the current value early next week.
The other option is that those that bought at the very lowest point might be banking a bit of profit to de-risk ahead of news.

As said by many before, £2/£3/£4 would be disappointing for many given the fall in 2018 was from £10.00+.
Provided the FCA come to a reasonable conclusion and YU continue to grow at the pace their RNS's have suggested there is good reason for many to be confident of a multi-bag!
