Without meaning to rather blunt, I very much doubt that individuals posting on LSE have any effect on the share price.
Its a board full of opinions (Most of which are wrong - mine included :) )

With a market cap of just £17m I can see why many would expect a big 2/3/400% once contract news starts arriving (given a potential value per contract range of £10-£100m).
For me its a long term hold as the market for generating energy from waste is constantly growing and EQT have the tech to do it in a cost effective and green way that will no doubt impress global organisations.

Lack of liquidity showing today with quick changes in the SP on fairly low trading volume.
It works both ways but if positive news drops you can be sure the MM's will put a premium on any buying beyond a few thousand shares.

Taken from 15th January RNS - Commentary from Ian Price (also mirrored in his subsequent online videos/interviews):

"As I have previously stated, EQTEC's expanding portfolio of projects continues to present significant near-term revenue generating opportunities for the Company. Our aim is to grow EQTEC into a market leading FTSE listed company. We look forward to providing shareholders with further updates in the near term on the Company's pipeline of projects, which includes opportunities with values ranging from EUR10m to EUR100m."

It would be fair to say that when using the phrase "near term" it typically indicates something that is due to happen in a matter of months rather than years. In which case the BoD really should be considering at least providing an update RNS regarding their pipeline opportunities relatively soon.

Without news its hard to judge when to stop topping up to keep averages at a reasonable level. I stopped topping up a couple of weeks ago as it was getting painful fighting against the rainbow chasers selling up and moving on.

Happens on almost every aim share - As soon as news is a little slow to arrive retail investors start selling small volumes and the MM's use it to pull the SP downward. At this level there will be very few individuals selling at a profit.

Come on IP - Bring on the news :)

Most of aim is slow at the minute with SP's slipping.
News needed here to send us back to the 1.3-1.4 range.
Not convinced the shorters are pushing the SP as there has been limited negative coverage on social media and ADVFN, LSE et al (A classic sign the shorters are doing their level best to suppress the SP)

If news is due to be released Pricey and the team have done well to keep tight lipped and leak free. Today's low volume indicates that no one is really expecting anything good or bad.

If he was trying to help altair make money then he didn't do a great job although I acknowledge that they are likely well away in profit.
Aside from the occasional small uplift, SP has slid down pretty much every day since 1.73p in January.
I am hoping that contract news will send the SP beyond 2p given that it shows they are at least converting some of the pipeline contracts IP has been shouting about and the tech is in demand..
How long will we have to wait?!? who knows!

The charts may look good and there are plenty of buyers around at 0.9p but IP really needs to get some news out.
Its a poor state of affairs that the SP has dropped from 1.38p over the last month despite various interviews.
Retail investors soon tire of hearing "aspirations" and "possibilities" when they have to wait many months for real news (especially given the incredibly positive comments made by IP in January).

Ordinarily I would be taking the opportunity to top up given the drop from recent highs but IP and Co are making it harder than usual to justify to myself given the regular Directors Talk interviews full of hopes and aspirations but no real news.
Even if its a smaller contract RNS (Sub £10 mil value), it would at least show an ability to secure contracts.
I personally believe that news will arrive in the coming week or two given the comments made by the BoD in the last few months but until then we will be stuck between 0.9p and 1.0p while the MM's try to create a little liquidity and feather their own nest.

Nice to see a bit of positive movement but lets hope it doesn't drag in another bunch of rainbow chasers.
Long term the EQT share price will be many multiples of the current level but a steady climb is far better than random spikes based on rumor or twitter whispers.

That said contract RNS's will likely cause a bit of stampede given the long wait!

Expectation of news X, Y, Z, is just that...... an expectation rather than fact.

Rome wasn't built in a day and IP has only been at the helm for a short time having taken the role from a less than active team of individuals. IP has outlined a basic plan and lined up a number of potential clients, of which they cannot comment on until contracts are signed and resulting revenues can be forecast.

The above means the average retail investor has limited options:
1. Hold
2. buy more
3. sell and move on (on the caveat that chasing rainbows on aim rarely works)

I personally believe the tech is good and the business will perform well over the next few months (resulting in a substantially higher SP). As always, this is an opinion, not fact.

I may be wrong but I think IP is holding off on news until he can reel off a list of achievements, contracts and revenue generating activities.
IP does not strike me as the kind of director that will churn out news for the sake of stabilizing the SP short term. He has made his long term aspirations very clear and I am reasonably confident he will deliver.

Rampers tend to be investors that want to see their investment grow (usually short term). Ramping is also subjective, as what one person considers as showing a positive aspiration for the business another will see as ramping.

I dont understand why certain individuals on this board are constantly slating the business if they are truly invested. My guess is they are either pocket change investors that lost a few quid or just like trolling boards on LSE.

They emailed me back straight away explaining they were busy laughing at an email from an angry LSE member who should probably nip down to the pub for a relaxing Friday pint :)
The market is closed - Deramping definitely wont effect the price now!

I wrote them an email 3 minutes ago demanding they increase the share price by 5x (because we all know the MM's can do that with nothing more than an offer of a free pint in weatherspoons).
I am very angry as my £3.29 investment has not grown in the last 15 minutes.
I believe everything I read on the LSE boards as the derampers are true heroes (protecting PI's far and wide)
Ian Price has not emailed back immediately and I am deeply aggrieved.

Odd little pick up in the SP.
Either a seller is done selling or the drop has been worked to get to someones buy in price..
I could be miles off but there is no good reason why today's downward trend would switch in the last 15 minutes of trading.

Looks like IP is keeping his cards close then. No RNS is a little surprising but I wonder whether IP is waiting to supply an operational update type RNS next week including the EBIOSS stuff.
