The question is really quite different. Based on the FACT that nobody knows what the status is: Is this going to affect your investment strategy - and if yes: How? Let this board know!

However, if that question's sole purpose is to scare investors and spread fear then I guess it doesn't deserve being taken note of.

I assume an oil strike or at least a "near to" oil strike would take a lot of the swings out of the SP development going forward. At the very least the swings would not take us down to the levels we are now experiencing.

After many years with PM (and AIM) not only I but all AIM investors have realised that we need to accept the fact that AIM allows - or even encourages - in-transparency. This is actually what investors - whatever couleur - fear and hate most - but it's what you get when investing on AIM.

Well, at the same time it cannot be stated that DQE will NOT be the rig contractor for Block XX.

Take it easy Victor - not every step of the way needs to be communicated to the public. PM has got some entrepreneurial freedom - do they not? Of course they do - and they have prudently chosen not to inform. I guess this is a love it or leave it type of situation.

The "ordinary" AGM took place on Febr. 15 (as announced on Jan. 24) for the usual purpose of approving accounts etc. for the prior year.
I've always understood this second one to be an "extraordinary" AGM scheduled primarily because of the board changes (Dr. Oyungerel) who is stepping down and needs to be released; possibly a successor will be elected. Clearly, this meeting can be also packed with other news which - understandably - have not yet been communicated. I would expect investors to receive an aGM agenda with all relevant topics subject to resolution about 2 weeks in advance.

I assume (and hope) that there will be a RNS update soon. The AGM is scheduled for Sept. 20. Is there any chance PM would want to wait until then to "spill the beans"?
I truly hope it will happen earlier - just a thought.

irrespective of whether the SL drill is a "big hit" or not. Same goes for WH. These drills - if they should actually don't turn out to be "gushers" - will deliver huge amounts of valuable information to PM which will enable them to get closer and closer to the hot spots.

Clearly, the short term investors will be chickening out if their punt investment doesn't turn out to be a bull's eye. For LTHs it's important to know that PM will continue to pursue it's announced drilling program thru to first half of 2019.

It's fair to say that the COS regarding all 6 drills is very high. And it will only take a single strike to make PM's SP rocket.

Mikey30: Many thanks for your post. All we need now is a bit of good news on behalf of PM. The LTHs (and other investors) truly deserve that. The oil strike has got to happen sometime - the ongoing drill schedule should make that happen. When that happens nobody knows; but it will and when it does: PM will - justifiably - emerge from its "penny stock" status to a £££ stock.

Hope everyone has loaded up accordingly. BTW I even hope the short term chickens will take away some beer money.

OK peeps: What I and - presumably many other posters on this board - would be interested in is what an RNS would contain if it DOES NOT ANNOUNCE "oil strike confirmed" or "sorry - looks like we missed the target".

A lot of statements could be "in between". Let's hear what those could sound/read like!
