I'm shocked: That really sounds like you're hopeful for good SL results and in addition, consider the WH drill to be a good bet! Guess I must have missed your post which refers to the above said.

I guess nobody can really understand why you haven't bailed out by now. Don't wait "for that update" and spare us the posts that typically follow your disappointment.

Spainish - I think we all appreciate your experience with Mongolia and China in this area of business and like to hear what you have to say respectively.
However, due to the fact that you are not an insider (better not!) you still have no idea what is going on behind the scenes with PM and why. I find your posts somewhat problematic as they appear to convey the impression that you can judge whether PM or rather its crew are doing a good job or not. If I were you I wouldn't stick my neck out that far.

Personally I've been engaged (on a very high level) in a lot of IT, ICT (and other international) listed companies and if there's one thing you can never count on is that things always work as planned. I admit I never worked for an O&G outfit but at least I had plenty of insight - and decisions which seemed to be cast in iron had to be revised - time and again. That is troublesome but it's reality in the big city.

Therefore: Should you have no insight in what is going on within PM i recommend you don't pound on its executive crew as if you would know better - it just doesn't make you look very good.

I thought the $5m repayment was subject to the conclusion of a farm-in agreement; wasn't aware of the additional condition regarding oil strike.

I'd rather learn that the drill was successful even if some days late than an on time completion with bad results.

Just to double down on H/S's message: If there's anyone out there who believes Mike Buck and his crew are NOT acting in PM's interest - speak up!

Looks like we're saddled up for the next week and particularly for additional information which should be provided by the upcoming AGM at the latest.

I believe everybody expects to receive detailed reasoning from PM on the XX drilling delay - which could have to do with more than just the rig requirements, e.g. reasons which are currently too premature in order for them to be disclosed at this time.
Not even the experts on this board have any idea about the situation PM is currently in so there's basically only one thing we can do: Wait and see!

The short term holders and traders were expecting either a "hallelujah" or a "failure" message. Unsurprisingly, it was neither of those.

The short term holders obviously expected that hallelujah announcement and reacted respectively and immediately, selling off at price levels well below 8p. It seems fair to say that a lot of those sellers reacted to buzz words instead of reading an RNS thoroughly before making their sell decisions.

A great deal of buyers knew better and scooped up those cheap shares - congrats!
